  1. Yet in the code, I find this: getplayerTeam (source) getplayerTeam and getPlayerTeam are quite different.
  2. The only reason I can think of is that the server has it's own mods replacing yours in MTA.
  3. There's an "editor_test" resource uploaded on SVN just 3 hours ago. You can wait a while for the resources to get packed again. Should be sometime soon. OR You can download an SVN client (like TortoiseSVN) to be able to download updates at any time. Also, you won't need to rely on that ZIP file with patched files anymore, as you can apply patches like provided in the ".patch" file in the first post right away. An advantage is that it's usually compatible with more than 1 version. As I doubt the patched files in the first post will work with the latest version of the editor.
  4. triggerServerEvent ( "privateevent", targetplayerelementrightoverhere, sendstring ) Seeing from the variable names, it seems like it should be: triggerServerEvent ( "privateevent", getPlayerFromNick(playerName), sendstring )
  5. And not everything you want will be done.
  6. I'd like to see the possibility to disable/alter the speed/height limits for airplanes. But it isn't of that high priority tbh.
  7. If you can connect with 127.0.0.1 and port 22004 on the PC it's hosted on, the port is correct. Otherwise, it isn't.
  8. Because the handling functions don't work...
  9. I marked the important spots for you.

https://community.multitheftauto.com/ It'll take you 2 seconds from there.
  11. I kinda laughed there to be honest. 127.0.0.1 == local PC. This means every computer 127.0.0.1 is used on, connects to itself. Anyway, back on topic: I guess you can connect on the PC it's hosted on? Try to use the IP-adress you get from the "ipconfig /all" command on that PC. If it works, IP and port are correct. If it doesn't, at least IP isn't...
  12. Resources are to be installed on a server by it's owner. And as you posted this in client-side, I presume you're a VISITOR of a server. You should ask this to the server administrators or other players on the server you're playing if the feature exists and how to use it, as not all servers provide something like this.
  13. The only thing I see possible to test on a RPG server is traffic light synch patch. Which isn't even applied to MTA. (well, yet) So I agree with robhol there. Besides, shouldn't we look if the issues in the last beta test have been resolved first? From what I can tell it was quite some chaos back there...
  14. Which is impossible at the moment and seems to be delayed to post 1.0 anyway.
  15. Are you sure you have all the resources required for the editor? And are you also sure you have the latest version of the editor?
  16. Some PC's just seem to have problems with how the main menu is rendered. They removed the special rendering in 1.0, as it looked a little better, but delivered too much trouble for the profit. I guess this has something to do with Vista though, as that's simply 101% failure.
  17. Alt+tab is almost perfect in the nightlies now I think... 1. It doesn't pause GTA anymore 2. Mouse properly appears now afaik 3. All the music keeps playing, instead of only GTA's (an option for this might be something that can be looked into in the future I guess) 4. I guess most crashes and other issues with it have also been solved 5. It is done, whatever "wouldn't be done"
  18. (note though that he probably has DP2, and those 2 are only in the nightlies)
  19. Most servers (if not all) don't allow that, and simply ban players who have edited their handling files as soon as they find out. Therefore, it's very highly dis-recommended.
  20. It already shows the errors at the bottom, as one of the screenshots shows.
  21. It's not only the first post that matters you know.
  22. The drivers fix the issue. That's why you're not having this issue. Anyway, indeed the link seems to not be working anymore. How wonderful. You can look up the driver on google, or, if possible, in windows update. (like HeavyAir said)
