  1. You have to open them in your router via port forwarding. Best way to do this is to get the name of your router and then google how to port forward for your router model.

    Update Idea?

http://bugs.mtasa.com/view.php?id=4047 Changing the size of an object is possible but not collisions of that object: http://bugs.mtasa.com/view.php?id=4797
  3. Rushed? You had months to test it, if it was buggy then you could have reported bugs like me, they "weren't seen" because nobody tested their gamemodes.
  4. You can reduce bandwidth usage by changing medium to maximum We use it on CIT and it saves us a huge amount of bandwidth allowing us to hold about 50 more players with the same bandwidth usage. 20 Don't change that, changing it won't make a difference 6 I've no idea about this one.

    server of 1.0

You can put your "paradise" just inside /resources or make a [paradise] and put it all in there. There is a readme file in the /resources directory that explains the structure.
  6. I can't see any report on the mantis about DKR server not being upgradable to 1.1 which means that even if any developers were informed on IRC they may not have read it and if they did, probably have forgotten now, thats why the mantis bug tracker exists.
  7. Its also obvious that if you cared so much, you'd have beta tested it, found those bugs and reported them before it was released. You didn't so deal with it.
  8. Apart from the few public betas, I've noticed that MTA lacks any structured testing. I reported 23 bugs that were introduced into 1.1 and I'm certain that some of those would have gone undetected if I hadn't have reported them. This made me the closest thing MTA has to a tester. I belive MTA had a QA team in the past but haven't seen anything from them for a long time (Is MeKorea a MTA QA? I assume so as he was running the betas) and I am offering to test new things properly, like a QA team would. I ask this because MTA is lacking proper testing which results in time wasted for developers that have to check if peoples reports are correct and many reports lack necessary details like proper steps to reproduce and I know this can be a problem as I develop a gamemode myself which uses a bug tracker too. So we get these poorly filled out reports and undiscovered bugs after releases, things that developers really don't need after they've put so much time and effort into MTA. I really want to do more for MTA, I run a popular server, contribute to resource and Map Editor, update the wiki and report bugs in a useful manner but I want to do more. Testing is where I think I can help MTA the most. I would start by going through all the current open issues and testing them to either confirm their presence or close them if not able to reproduce. Then when the next version starts to take shape I would see that everything is tested well and report any new bugs as quickly and effectively as possible and organize regular tests of the new features as I have done before on my gamemode (I ran two 50 player beta tests on 1.1) Of course I could do the above without approval but it would mean a lot to me and would happily begin.
  9. They can't, they can only see the other servers in the browser and then there is the option to automatically go to the other game and play it.
  10. The biggest problem is server owners that aren't updating to 1.1 not a few bugs and crashes. Only about half the servers have updated yet.

    Please Hear Me Out

You were banned for trolling. You had 3 accounts on the forum RustyCuyler, iLuvCIT, DedicatedUser. Any normal person would have used 1 account, not just that but your comments were obvious trolling and because of the trollish comments we suspected that you were/are the attacker. Fair decision: we ban trolls.
  12. CIT server peaked 334 players! Making MTA history, once again!
  13. All problems can be fixed if you report them in the correct manner. Or its a simple fact that they're playing on servers with shaders and they've got old computers that can't handle it.
  14. You don't have to update anything. Updating them is option in the sense that there are new features you can enjoy.

    MTA Community Serials

Prove it? Before you start talking BS.
  16. What version of MTA SA are you using, if it is 1.0.5 do you accept the updates offered at the main menu?
  17. You sure they're the same version and same data files installed?
  18. ccw has added the patch to Map Editor it will be availale when 1.1 is released or you can download the resources now and run it on a nightly release candidate.
  19. If nothing is happening that is probably because when you were installing MTA SA, you didn't select resources. Install MTA SA over your current installation and this time do not deselect resources.
  20. Based on what you said in another topic just today:

Dear me... you were meant to add those functions just where its created not create 3 different sounds and 2 unecessary commands and functions. Also what the hell is "setSoundMinDistance(sound, (10)(param))"

You need to set the min and max distance of the 3d sound using: https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/SetSoundMinDistance https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/SetSoundMaxDistance
