That would work I suppose but not recommended for a popular (80+ players regularly) because the resources that are allocated to your server will be limited and per slot its terrible value for money. Total price: 27.81 GBP (128 player server) Yet you can get a kimsufi cheap dedicated server for about 17 GBP and host a lot more than a gameserver! -
This isn't a problem with your computer or your game, I'm suprised you wasted so much time reinstalling the game twice when its most probably your in the wrong interior (had this problem various times). Whatever server you're playing on you need to contact one of the administrators and ask them to kill you if there is no kill command on the server and you should respawn in the right interior if the servers respawn system is any good.

If you can get some exact steps to reproduce the bug (every thing you did and when) Id' be grateful.

Search the internet for a cheap server and if none are cheap enough find a decent VPS even though they're less value for money. -
Judging by the code added at http://code.google.com/p/mtasa-blue/sou ... il?r=2971# there is nothing regarding server name.

When we were breaking our player peaks it felt amazing, and when we broke an actual MTA record (254 players on 1 server) it was magical. But now we've reached the ceiling there isn't anything else to feel amazing about, just feel bad about and we also have had many problems keeping the server even online when there are no lifers D/DoSing the server and so on. With great success, comes great haters. -
For anyone wondering what changes are made in 1.1 I made a list: https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/Changes_in_1.1

I have the same problem as you (but not as bad) because the hosts in the UK are very expensive but luckily there is the cheap host in France that I use. If there are no good hosts in Brazil and none in other parts of South America? You'll want to look for one in North America. -
You can select any color for vehicles now (any RGB code works) in 1.1 and the colorpicker was made by ryden.
-
Get the 1.1 Map Editor and you can select world objects.
-
Wojak, if you finish that or have finished it, we could add it to the Map Editor officially.
-
Delete editor_dump do refresh command and try again. If that still fails try doing the same to editor_test
-
Next time do: /debugscript 3 Then try open the object selector Print screen any text that appears and show. But first try with a new copy of Map editor here: http://code.google.com/p/mtasa-resource ... p&can=2&q=

The hardware will be fine, you just need to make sure you can afford it. What is the bandwidth allowance per month? You won't need much unless you plan on having 100+ players and if you think you could hit 200+ then you'll need some serious bandwidth. Cheapest place to get that is OVH's kimsufi brand but they only sell to some countries right now like http://kimsufi.co.uk Tip: read reviews about the host and research as much as possible to make sure the server you're getting is something you won't regret. -

No, you don't need IRC.
-
There is only one cancelEvent() and it seems that something went wrong with it. The script either never work, you failed to correctly configure it or you broke it. Find where you got it from and refer to the documentation provided with it.
-
Look inside the irc resource for what reasons it cancels the startup of the script and if there are multiple reasons add a debug info just before it cancels the event so you can see what the reason is.

I think headshot is an awful script to have on MTA, impossible to have any long gun fights if you can fire 1 bullet, hits them in the head, gunfight over... Also its unfair when you're shooting somebody loads and the headshot isn't being registered but then they start shooting you and boom, you're dead, no chance to take cover, nothing.

Find and play on one that is good then, like Valhalla, thats RP, right?

Its kind of hard to beat them at player count when we don't know how many of their players are fake right now there are 6 servers 500/500 passworded which are clearly fake and for all we know many other servers are faking their player count. CrystalMV you're very right, no MTA servers go any where near the full potential of MTA SA. Even the most popular server is no where near as good as it could be. Maybe if we started working more as a community than as server hosts (something I'm guilty of (I do my bit for map editor though!)) we could achieve so much more and let so many more players see the true potential of MTA SA, which is something none of us have never seen simply because no server or gamemode has ever used every single scripting function and event. Funny how I've gone off topic but I feel quite inspired now to do more for the whole MTA SA community and maybe turn some of the waiters into doers.
-
Then get coding. I think a lot more people would prefer updates to MTA SA as its already the best GTA multiplayer experience. If GTA IV was worked on it would take many years before it became as enjoyable as MTA SA is now, so why bother when we already have something great to play. Honestly, I hope there is no MTA IV.

By luck I meant that it would be hard for any server to have 300 players online, not because its hard to get all the players but its hard for MTA to handle them.
