ccw has saved me more times than I can count, I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for him because running a server would have been impossible without his support. Many times he was the only person to ever care and help when something went wrong. ccw's motivation to work on MTA is endless, even inspirational. I join the fan club.

Well if you want free servers you can start hosting them.

There is no disadvantage of having it on "maximum" I recommend every server to use "maximum" but only helps much for servers that have players spread out a bit. If everyone is near each other the bandwidth reduction won't do much.

There is support in hedit to import a line of handling like "1600.0 3550.0 2.0 0.0 0.0 -0.5 70 0.70 0.8 0.52 5 260.0 15.0 2.0 4 P 10 0.60 0 35.0 1.0 0.09 0.0 0.30 -0.10 0.35 0.0 0.26 0.14 19000 40000004 00000004 0 3 0" is this similar? You'll want to contact Remi-X to see if he's interested in adding support to import a handling.cfg

So you're saying its an intended feature? Well I suppose it probably is in singleplayer when you only kill bots so they never complain. And it can only be disabled via scripting. Check the loss onClientPlayerDamage and cancel, then setElementHealth.

This is GTA SA 'bug' when you shoot somebody point blank it does a lot more damage for some reason.

It means you've been caught cheating and the only solution is to remove/uninstall/disable the cheats.

Your map editor may be modified. Go to /server/mods/deathmatch/resources/ then delete the folder called [editor] Download this: http://mtasa-resources.googlecode.com/f ... s-r803.zip Unzip it and put the [editor] folder into the resources folder. Try map editor again.

Make sure there is nothing in the filter editbox and the filter checkboxes are ticked so they show all servers, press refresh then see what happens.

Esc --> Settings/Options --> Binds/key binds/keyboard --> Restore defaults.

If your GTA SA has any game modifications, delete them.

I don't think so much time should be put into a main menu, though it is part of the first imperssions the 1.1 one looks great, professional whereas when playing it is common for clients to crash every day which is the biggest problem for MTA players in my opinion. Mods always have stability issues so to overcome this would be a great step forward in my view. I can't imagine playing without all the stability updates ccw has done over the past 2 years for MTA SA.

Some objects don't have collisions (or something like that) and thus the Map Editor is unable to select these once placed. There is a workaround however. Press E so your aim turns red, then selecting it should be possible.

If the server doesn't give you an option to disable shaders then there are only two things you can do: Complain to the owners Stop playing there. If their nametags are causing lag then they obviously didn't script them right either so again there are only two things you can do.

Then use https://nightly.multitheftauto.com/ports/ to verify the open state of your servers ports. Also note that the server list doesn't update new servers straight away and it could take hours.

Because even if they can, it auto updates to 1.1 next restart apparently.

Bandwidth reduction has nothing to do with compression, bandwidth reduction simply skips some of the not important puresync packets thus saving bandwidth and on a very busy server this amount is great. -
dxscoreboard is highly inefficient when you view it (FPS drops for everybody). That is NOT the fault of MTA SA but the fault of the resource.
