  1. LOL! Well, two things here. One, you currently can't make custom maps in this version of Multi Theft Auto, and two, if you meant this for the San Andreas version, you posted this in the incorrect section. Edit: TC beat me to it.

  3. It has been removed from MTA 0.5 but I am curious on this myself if any attempts have ever been made to sync it, and if so, how hard would it be.

  5. Lately I've been seeing more Tommy's than Jacob's...and more just keep coming!

    MTA and SAMP

Actually, it's not always about change. Some users just can't run one or the other. I have a friend that can only play MTA:SA because SA:MP won't work correctly for them. For me, I can only play SA:MP because MTA:SA is a freaking memory leaking hog on my computer and crashes half way into a server download. I'd love to play both, but it's just not that easy... But, I can say the opposite as well. I hate VC:MP, whereas I love GTA3:MTA/MTA:VC. Ironic, huh?
  7. lol is there a compiled list of known issues that goes with this?
  8. Please note: This is not a discussion topic. Hey guys! SugarD-x here. This thread is a call out to the community for any help they would be willing to provide. I'm asking for any and all users that play, use, and/or have MTA 0.5 on their system please go ahead and run it and load it up in GTA 3. Play for a bit...even if it's on your own "localhost/127.0.0.1" connection. I'm looking for users that are willing to post any and all bugs they find in it. Please note, this is not for the VC half of MTA 0.5 - GTA 3 half only please. The idea here is to have the community help us report all unlisted bugs in the GTA 3 part. I, myself, as well as others will also be doing this, but I thought it'd be a great idea to have the rest of the community join in and help too. This idea also gets more unique environments testing it, and helps out alot more than just a small group working on it. If you find a bug, please give as much detailed information about it as you can, including how it happened, where it happened, the skin you were using, the island you were on, vehicles and/or buildings involved, etc. so that I can try to recreate it. If it appears to happen at random and you cannot recreate it using the method you originally found it from, please let me know as well. Just go ahead and reply to the topic here with your information. Thanks again! Already known issues: https://forum.multitheftauto.com/viewtopic.php?t=11098 P.S. This is ONLY for the 0.5 version of MTA, running GTA 3. No other versions or Vice City-only bugs please!
  9. I told ya to check your A/V! lol Anyway, I still think your OS was somehow corrupt.
  10. SugarD-x* lol Thank you man, and trust me, you'll be surprised when the time comes. I'm very sure you'll be satisfied then.
  11. Currently the latest released version is MTA 0.5 which works with both GTA 3 and GTA: Vice City.
  12. I am SO sick of explaining this damn mod to everyone! LC:MP is NOT GTA 3. It is a modified version of VC:MP that uses a modded version of GTA:VC.
  13. I appreciate THAT response to the topic. That was well thought out, and perfectly written. The only thing you need to change in it is the part that says "...IE does suck, ...". It needs to be changed to "...in my opinion, IE does suck, ...". Other than that, I applaude you. Now I will admit IE isn't the best in the world, but it does have a large share of the market, and there are some users that do prefer it, hence why I still say universal compatibility is something that needs to be taken into consideration here.
  14. Either emulation, VM, or Boot Camp is about all you can do, but MTA:SA will never be able to natively support Mac OS for two major reasons: 1. It would require rewriting/converting alot of code for it to be cross-compatible. 2. GTA games do not run on Mac OS, making the whole thing pointless. If GTA is ever brought over to the Apple platforms, then you might see a chance for this, but unfortunately right now, mostly because of reason # 2, there's no point in doing it.
  15. Well, in case you people hadn't noticed, you are using their Operating System, and that's by choice. If you don't like it, destroy your C:\* root and download a free version of Linux. Otherwise, get over it. Yes, they may be imposing, but it is THEIR OS you are using. They don't force Linux users to use their OS... Besides the point, don't flame it. That is absolutely retarded. Yes, it may even be true, but keep in mind IE is the reason why Opera, FF, and the other's exist. Without IE, they would've had no reason to be invented. Regardless of your opinions on it, your opinion isn't the only one that matters. Consider the fact that maybe other users like using just IE. And yes, it's called ****ing universal compatibility, not "since my opinion is that IE sucks, everyone else shouldn't use it" compatibility.' Please note, this is not meant as a flame or an attack on anyone. This is meant to promote open-mindedness so other users stand a chance...
  16. Dude, don't be a ****ing IE flamer. It's called universal compatibility for a reason.
  17. Then you fail, because this client owns. Stay tuned!
  18. You don't want a new, bug-free version?
  19. You will find out soon.
  20. Well if things go well, you may regret saying that soon!
  21. Besides LU, there actually aren't any that were ever completed, and as of this moment in time, LU still isn't done. GTA3:MTA (up to MTA 0.5) was the only one ever actually released.
  22. Update!: We now have a site/forum at CENSORED for the team to use throughout the creation of this project. CENSORED, as you can see is in the URL. The reasoning behind that is because it is Latin for CENSORED. We decided that this fit fairly well given the situation, so for now the project is codenamed CENSORED.
