  1. http://www.mtaiv.com/ has no directory index file. I know you guys keep changing the site for ****s and giggles, among other things, but atleast a blank index file or simple redirect would be nice to make it HTML compliant.
  2. MTA:SA is flagged as a virus now? That's odd, I never saw that before. I know that MTA 0.x is finally cleared of the issue as modern A/V's no longer flag it. I wonder why he's getting this problem so suddenly.
  3. As easy way would be to do a stress test. If your server can handle that many without lag, go for it.
  4. /me cries
  5. 4 days? You can do it! Tell me what I can do to help!
  6. Better? My signature is usually what the average is on most forums. If there's a way to scale it without using up my remaining character count, let me know and I'll gladly do it. Unfortunately forum makers, when making the ability to limit the number of characters in a signature, tend to forget to add the option of not counting BB-Code tags against that number.
  7. I have lol...but that was still better than a promise that was never fulfilled. Atleast users knew what was going on. I'm not asking for dates, I'm just asking for truth. Those "eventually" answers so far have always meant never.
  8. No. Use the download located at http://www.mtasa.com/ on the front page. That is Multi Theft Auto: San Andreas. This topic is for a program that is only meant for Grand Theft Auto III: Multi Theft Auto and Multi Theft Auto: Vice City. (It runs GTA3:MTA and MTA:VC in one program. MTA:SA is a different program altogether.)
  9. Towncivilian* Please note that my mirror is a secondary. When Blokker has his back up, you'll be able to download it from the official MTA domain URL as well.
  10. Don't get me wrong, I'm very grateful. It's just a suggestion. It would be nice. I'd use it specifically for the reason I stated above, like I already am doing
  11. On another forum I had multiple links going to a few of the most common error situations in my signature, and it helped users find their answers to their problems long before they even discovered technical support. Sometimes these situations can be very useful.
  12. I am grateful, but apparently you're not a fan of 0.5. There's alot of bittersweet posts regarding that game. It's actually the gratefulness that makes us so mad. We expect something that never got delivered. TBH, I just don't like the generic "eventually" answers. They have always led to bad situations in the past.
  13. A date, no...but what gets me is the "eventually" comment that always promises and never delivers...
  14. Idk about that. Just did a 0.5 beta test yesterday and we maxed the server out. That call was last minute with limited advertising. I'm sure MTA could pull this off easily if they make a big deal out of it
  15. Get alot of users with alot of computers
  16. Only one way to find out
  17. Same thing, given when it was made and how.
  18. Just your server. MTA 0.5.x's server wasn't built to handle so many packets at one time on such high speed connections, given it's age, but yes, x86's server handled it much better under the load. Your poor server was committing suicide trying to handle all the data at once lmao.
  19. Chat bug is brand new. Hasn't reproduced yet since it's happened, and it went away on it's own after occurring several times in a row after re-minimizing. I'll watch for it again. It may have just been a fluke.
  20. Thanks for the 0.5-style statement...Ugh...
  21. Confirmed a new bug: "Choosing game path results in Suspected Trainer Usage+if you cancel out of the window to choose the .exe, you receive a "You have not specified the path to the correct executable ()", sometimes followed by the "Unable to execute"/wrong executable error." So far restarting the client seems to temporarily remedy it. I noticed also that from playing VC and then switching to III that the folder the Browse window pops up to is always the last chosen folder for any game path. For example, when switching to III from VC, it popped up and defaulted to the folder for VC. Later when I switched back to VC from III, it defaulted to the III folder. Edit: Found more for VCDM: - Seems the infinite ammo bug when holding down the "shoot/attack" button affects other weapons as well. Users do not see the attacker reload their weapon. - Mexicans' ammo accumulates after death. It doesn't reset. May affect other skins as well. - Ambulance needs to have health gain removed, same reason as the police car's shotgun - SWAT Enforcer needs to have armor gain removed, same reason as the police car's shotgun - When the game is loaded and the user minimizes, they cannot speak into the out-game chat in the client. Typing works, but it won't allow you to send. A generic Windows warning notification sound is given. Sometimes this doesn't happen too.
  22. For those of you who are unsure, that is 20:00 CET. Use timezoneconverter.com if you need to convert the time that way.
  23. For now? I've seen this suggested for months, if not years. I don't understand why users can't delete their own resources... Even if it kept a copy hidden on the server marked for deletion in which admins could delete or undelete, that would solve any issues of any getting mistakenly deleted.
