  2. Hay gamemode in GTAIV Fallout in GTAIV Race with custom maps in GTAIV And the MTA Gui in GTAIV Etc... If MTA makes a good mod for GTAIV then all players move to MTA instead of Rockstar's MP I think if MTA would make a MP for GTAIV it takes umm... 4 years?
  3. I think its really hard to trigger at the same time and i think MTA is intelligent enough to queue them up and do both changes in a row.

  6. I think on our server you are at the right place. i think we have a,b, and c (we also have bugs to be really honest, thats why there are much updates)
  7. What model do you have to replace then? or does that not make any sense, you can just replace the pirateship model for example?
  8. Dude, I wasn't serious, its just that its possible. Ofcourse nobody will waste their time to make such thing.
  9. I think it would be better for dp3 to have the chatbox have 13 lines as standard value. Instead of 5 or 7 (dont know exactly). And maybe also the chatfont 2, many people dont read the chat because its so small, or goes to fast.

You could imitate the game 'Sims' with the new functions for peds Using onClientRender to put the camera watching from the sky. and using your mouse to click somewhere in the 3d world, then the ped walks to the point. Build a house with a sims like map editor and use the animation functions to let the bed(sim) watch tv, sleep, etc... (how retard)

  12. The map files and models are around ~250 mb in total? store them on a external http server and let the users download the stuff. Only problem is, can mta replace all those files without making gtasa crash? will it be possible in the future? that was the question. Currently its not possible i guess.
  13. You are the first one who post the word 'cheat' here. My opinion is: If people want to play GTA United, it must be possible with replacing models or something with MTA's scripting system. And not with installing the mod offline yourself, that will cause trouble. The question of this topic was: I saw a great mod on one of the GTA modding sites. It's name is GTA United and if I'm right it adds liberty and vice city to san andreas and you can travel between them. Will it be possible in any of the upcoming versions of MTA to include LC and VC somehow? I think a mta developer knows the answer.
  14. We will get the same like sa:mp, people join my server with mods which are not synced to other players because they dont have them. People are driving in my server on an island that is not visible on my screen. If you really want to have GTA:United, it has to be supported by MTA's scripting system. And has to be downloaded when you join the server (from an external http server) I heard a long time ago that there was a server that did replaced models from san andreas with gta vice city models but was not 100% ready. Someone i know been there and was driving on starfish island. (thats what he said) He had to download like ~150 mb or more.

  17. My opinion is that MTA uses ~3 times more CPU usage then singleplayer (depends on the gamemode)

It depens all on what sort of gamemode the server is running. in stealth servers evrything should run very smoothly on a P4 or a Sempron But when you join the FMJ server you will have more lagg (- ~20fps) or something. As far i know is that because there are very much vehicles in that mode. My own server had it too when i had a lot of vehicles. (terrible low fps) so i removed 90% of the vehicles and it runs very smooth now. Edit: MTA seems to be using a lot more cpu then singleplayer. If you want to play MTA Dp2 perfectly you really need a dual core. (and even not the cheapest) Dp3 works a lot better btw.

  20. I think there will come more bugs when they enable alt-tabbing. Think of invisible players, you cannot see a player that can see you. (a known mta 0.5 bug) Edit: But ye i like to have alt tabbing too.
