Little kids who's only worry is about getting cooties don't understand the responsibilities of people who maybe work, are in higher education, have family commitments etc.

It's annoying when your eyes aren't too great as it is, so it then goes and blurs your view up even more. It also causes fps drops which could cause some desync aswell as lag, especially in low end PCs. Really it should of been a toggle option when they made the game.

Mouse is more precise aiming wise. But for racing a game pad is better. I've still pwned many a race anyway. I use a keyboard + mouse

Don't waste your time looking, once you know what a cheater looks like just ban him/her while playing. By wasting your game time searching your just letting them win.

Using SA windowed works perfectly though, you need the desktop space though.

I will support both, it's up to the server admin what mod they use DM or Race.

DM is being concentrated on at the moment so they can release, it being the most popular gamemode.

Not really, they make a game unchallenging and boring. Cheaters cheat because they have very little patience when it comes to learning or thinking in terms of a game. The only cheats i ever found amusing in sp were speed/wall climbing cheats, and then very temporarily Most cheaters without cheats would be unable to compete against those with the patience to learn to game, hence the reason they turn to cheating.

The feet are from someone jumping up the background texture being a poor representation of a crowd in the stands. It's obviously a football game as those studs are illegal in rugby and the boots are too low. Has to be fifa or a pro evo game.

Yeh but the signals having to go to a satellite orbiting maybe 400+ miles above the earth and then back down again.

Which results in terrible latency, and relies on a landline for upstream. And just because farmer Smith in his upper Hebrides farm can only access 56K doesn't mean game developers should be forced into more work. Some areas of britain are just impractical to be given broadband access, mostly places with low population per area.

People on dial-up shouldn't play online games, with broadband so cheap and often free theres no excuse. If you put someones sync at a low priority as you said you encourage desync, if that is shown on screen it would looks terrible. So your basic idea is bad.

If someone has a ping of 500 + they should really not be playing on that server, any game even commercials games suffer badly at those kind of extremes.

The lag compensation isn't for 50-100ms pings, as I'm sure someone has said it works for much higher pings, any other compensation shooting wise isn't needed.
