  3. cop rob these two searches will overlap, and wont be perfect, and it aint one nice neat package but .. at least its the link to the search on the maps site you wont find a lot of maps in forum

  5. did you leave it on the browse screen for a (lot longer) while im not sure that it will help , but since all the pings in the images are relatively high , it might be so easy that it simply isnt done loading the list else try opening your firewall / NAT a bit

    Server Problem

    this and 'not beeing able to connect on IP' made me almost go insane after i asked around a bit someone just said 'duh' and once i started thinking it started to make sense {it actually makes quitte a lot of sense that it wont work - i wont explain it though} so to be brief.. you will see it in list .. as a unnamed server - with correct IP and port .. but you can only connect using 'localhost' in the quick browse instead of the IP if all is well and you leave the server up a while , you'll see people joining

    - tag : yes the game Tag .. one will have a CP glued to vehicle - king of the hill : defend a area - capture the flag : why am i explaining this - two teams , two flags ... go figure - team deathmatch : deathmatch .. but with two teams - team race / baton race : just like race .. but teamed up think i seen a topic like this , but to be sure ill just add the other basic ones

  9. typo .. ohk .. so i ment a section for mta0.5 within it mta:gta3 and a section for mta:vc and a section for mta1.0 for SA and i know there are some good subsections now.. but .. it might be me , just look at Add ons all versions are in that one section
  10. please please please divide forum into sections for mta0.5 (yeye typo) MTA:VC mta:SA 1 (as in , just create a new section for v1 with no topics .. topics can be moved on request) its starting to get a mess real quick
  11. i agree besides the object limit problem and the 'some roads dont get loaded in race' problem , in map editor if you didnt from first object renamed the name to the itemname its quitte hard to identify the problem .. let alone all the objects around it causing the problem in the first place

(ps .. dont tell me that DM will be without the ability to have CP's on a map) --- k i know i can be fuzzy , in english : you dont want to be stuck on deathmatch maps , and you dont want to wait till everyone has updated their maps . how about there should be a setting for the prefered mode (waves would be likely) and there should be a setting for amount of waves / number of kills (if not waves) and there should be a setting for enabling it when there are no CP's in a map , it should override the race setting and use the prefered mode , and change to a next map if the number of kills or waves is reached

  15. i have a v1.1 all maps 'server' - just upload to center and it will be on a few minutes later should be listed as [NL][CoZ] 2400+ MAPS .. or something like that (voting enabled , needs 100%)
  16. im not sure if this is a MTAMA problem or a MTAMAGRS .. - the all maps list gets broken , either by to much files (it loads about 633 of 2400 maps on my server) .. or by maps with odd characters well .. if that would be the cause my guess is the list would be different every time the script loads .. it jumps in my list from country racing to dzei derby .. and from dzei derby to Eagle's Avenged Map jumps from Hc Jump Race to lol .. making a lot of races come out as 'unknown'
  17. - is it possible to have a !getmapnames , on a letter .. like !getmapnames gre .. and it will give you some sort of list with all maps starting with gre -- sometimes you just cant get on the name (yes i know maps is a command you can use in console , but then a you'd still be looking .. b that wont work with a lot of files ... to be a bit clearer .. for example you want to play "EXTREME Cops 'N Robbers.map" but cant remember the ' .. a command like !getmapnames robbers .. would show a list with said map (possibly with mapnumber so you can startrace on number and not have to type such a long name in the first place )
  18. just make a new .mrc file and add your bits under the correct heading like commands under on *:SIGNAL:mta.command: k ill try .. tnx elaborate on this a little k here is what ive done went to my server/maps folder .. did a "dir /b > list.txt" opened list.txt . search and replace on .map to 'blank' save list and open in excel .add column b full of = marks add column c with 25 save as unicode txt file .. open it , search and replace tab to space so by that time i had a list of all maps like mapname = 25 othermap = 25 etcetcetc copy pasted that into instructions.ini and now i have the maplimit on all maps - k back to the overactive mostly it does skip to next map on the number of deaths set but sometimes it skips to a new map after only a few deaths ill try to get a few examples rest is moved to the other threads

(ps if anyone wants a list of all maps with a default number , pm me ) - is it possible to have a !getmapnames , on a letter .. like !getmapnames gre .. and it will give you some sort of list with all maps starting with gre -- sometimes you just cant get on the name - can someone pretty please tell me how to get my stuff in a seperate file , so it will still be able to use some variables and all .. but wont break the updater

  21. ok edited some spawnpoints make you crash in ground /get stuck in bridges / get stuck in ramps/ get stuck on top of loopings .. when before it went well sometimes one or two playes have the start -- gogogo -- countdown , but can drive happened to myself about three times now ..
  22. 1.1 is improved but not perfect .. it lacks a setting for deathmatch maps .. i do want to try a race map for 20 minutes ,. but im (and others) are bored of a deathmatch map after about 5 minutes ... keep in mind that the way people are playing mta is so diverse .. try and keep stuff managable for the admin , not by the author of the map and not by the mtateam or the visitor .. for example the instant spawn (imho)
  23. im glad the map bug is partially (on server, not yet on client) fixed .. but i seriously hate the lack of alt-tab .. since i need to alt-tab occasionally overall .. well .. lets just keep up the good work and it will be a great mod
