the meta-xml searches for a "canals.map" you have to replace that with "dm_farm". im afraid the map doesnt work even after fixing that problem. you should really test your map before publishing it!

you can setup a server and replace the car models with a resource. im sure youll finde some threads on the scripting section

i guess their goal is creating a mod we all love but another important part is the community. they've said that they want a big community with anyone creating own maps gamemodes resources modells and everything else we can imagine

this is very useful... there would be at least 1 server which has the "better" version. saying "script it your own" is not the solution all the time. sure i can create a resource that makes /kill possible all the time but this makes no sense, i'd have to find a server which features that resource!!! something must be changed in this mode, thats a fact, but if i change it it would have no effect on any other server than my (beautiful) dedicated server lol. there are some things that are MUST HAVES and how should i create something and make sure that everyone downloads it. i can totally understand what thestrangestick means.

you should just understand why youre banned. nobody... and i mean NOBODY needs a cheater. nowhere, never. warn them would result that cheaters would be careful with cheating... but we dont want them at all. 6 year old admins? i guess youre beliving that any admin on any server can give you a global ban, but only the admins of the official servers can ban you global. 100/200 cheater... 10/200 seems more real and yes, i want them to be banned global the anticheat system is the best ive ever seen on a homebrew project

set the coordinates as they should be probably. so youll have to find the x, y and z axis. fill the right coordinates in and you should spawn at the chosen location

looks weird at least better than the default classic deathmatch. im going to have a look at it ingame edit: good map but too much ammo and nothing really special as well

the mta team wanted to put voicechat in mta, but they stopped developing that for some (unknown) reason. but as far as i remember they also said they would perhaps try to put it in a later version. and its already possible to edit nearly everything. things like cars and skins

i remeber soneone of the team who said, that its possible to create a new map for an existing gamemode without any scripting i also guess that the mapeditor will have something i call "eventpoints" which means that i guess whenever something beside vehicles / players and some other basic stuff is bound on a point on the map (for example a boundaries) is appearing as ... lets say a shining ball (like the orb of capture the orb). something im hoping for is the possibility to set a camera spot so i can go in the editor and watch the space i want to have as respawn screen or spawnscreen or whatever and just save this position. another cool thing would be if the options would already contain something like driveby: "off" "always" "onhitdrivebykey" or adding special events to the eventpoints like if i cross this line the wether changes to thunderstorm the only problem on my suggestion is that this results that i am creating a new gamemode if i would use all this possibilitys but moving those eventpoints should be easy i think

set the frames that fraps takes per second to 25. you should also take another hotkey. f9 is for gamemode information in MTA

MTA SA and MTA DM? so you mean the DM mod of VC? i really dont see a problem playing race and dm. using the installer of them takes about 40 seconds to switch the modes.
