there are some more bugs in race... when you change a vehicle with a checkpoint and die you somtimes spawn as the old vehicle the camera doesnt "teleport" anymore. is just moves fast... this results some issues with objects, respawn of objects, in some specific maps when you join a server (race is running) mta sometimes tell you youre the first weird "no clip" bug after dieing, aswell the kind you die changed and i found the old way better after "waiting for x more player" you can start... but the race began some time before maps based on own objects got bugged at start. you sometimes spawn in the floor or under the floor the default skills of the vehicles are now on 0. this makes many bike races impossible sometimes a race seem not to load correct and a player gets all checkpoints at once youre sometimes able to walk around. you cant get checkpoints but youre also able to enter a vehicle as passenger the votes are directly played above the ranking and checkpoints you passed... not a bug but annoying for some reason the pickups look shitty. to dark, hard to see when you start you sometimes roll some meters when the 3... 2... 1... appears (caused by falling and uneven floor i guess) you often start burning before your vehicle health is empty... well i hope thats it...

i love the mainscreen and the credits... well ive never watched some credits this often... the game is released for only hours and ive seen the credits at least 10 times... the music rules ahhhh did i forget anything? ah! the game rules too... and great gamemodes... very smooth synch and lots of fun... i would never call that a preview. just waiting for the map editor now and im happy... actually im happy right now... its a really strange great feeling to be able to play mta dm... gonna watch the credits again... cya

Hi there, as many of you should know now i love mapping and so my suggestion is that you should be able to scale the objects in the mapeditor... i have no idea if this is possible but there are already many things that seemd to me nearly impossible thank you

just browse: misc -> icons and pickups 1318 is the id

you have to open the .map file with an editor like wordpad and change the id of every spawnpoint which has to be a different vehicle than the starting vehicle. in fact thats a bit crappy but theres no better way i know... for a full list of the ids you could have a look at this page: http://www.vces.net/info/index.php the best way is changing the names of the spawnpoints by pressing f3. so youll find them much easier. example: 2535.211914 294.834808 28.794598 89 522 2536.895752 299.259033 28.794598 89 522 i have to change 522 (NRG500) to 520 (Hydra) dont try to set a new starting vehicle afterwards... it will screw up everything youve already done.

that could be the reason why i was talking about a "hand" it just doesnt help anyway, and... why should it? o0 i guess that we all have working keyboards and smacking them doesnt matter to them, they will work or they will not. but why the hell should a keyboard make mta deleting some letters? im sure the reason of this problem has to do with the code of mta.

sounds strange and nice but actually i dont wanna fight with stickmans and nearly invisible black guys but the idea is nice. im not sure if this would be possible the easy way.

the interior thing isnt new. just download those maps open them, choose an object with the element list end press f6 and there you go. teleporting is just not possible in the race mod but will be scriptable in mta: dm which has no release date until its out. the problem with the axis is a bit difficult. in fact theres no easy way. you can use long straight items as a helper or use a massmover to get the positions of the items.

easy solution: -download the map you wanna play -setup a server with a password that only you know -play the map -write down your time -show the time to your friends and ask them for their time but... i dont really know what this has to do with a multiplayermod

mhh you could try to use your cd/dvd on someone elses computer to try playing mta there, maybe your cd has got some unknown bug or something like that.

the end version of the map file will be different to our maps we converted to upload it. the upload page is also down, maybe its becaus they dont need new maps anymore. i would let the pickups in the race form. you will have to change some things for sure but not at the moment. just wait for the release

i got nearly 100 map ideas but im going to map them myself... in fact i dont have so much time at the moment thats why im not releasing new maps right now

mhh i got the same bug but i don't realy care. to change your nick with more than 1 a you can just use the /nick command would be interesting to know what causes that bug

mh the only thing i remember is that the spike strips don't work in race. im sure it will be scriptable in mta dm
