it's always been annoying to me, i really can't think of a proper reason why someone should be able to set your name. this function should have been removed ages ago. especially because it's already abused by too many servers who keep crippling your name to have no special characters and force you to change your name when playing on another server again.

if your server is hosted you should contact the provider of this service for help. you don't need to open any ports or shut down the firewall in order to see the server or play on it

the z velocity is a bit buggy for peds and players, why don't you try to set the gravity instead?

lol, when the problem appears on sa mp theres nothing we can do for you, except offering you to switch to mta, where your problem does not appear. you should have mentioned that you are playing sa mp and not mta. you can't get ANY help on sa mp related problems here, you're simply on the wrong forums

i guess gamesnert is right your map is too far away from san andreas. put is closer to san andreas

Hey there. Mr.Hankey is currently working on mta's handling functions, fixing bugs, crashes and getting them ready to be implemented (which will hopefully happen as soon as possible ). i'm sure they do... not 1993, FYI pawn was first released 1998 and was rarely used before the name change and version 3 which has been released 2005 (it still is rarely used tough) /offtopic world of warcraft UI add-ons are written in lua for example. quality instead of quantity... well at least the few chosen ones can speak proper english if this was true i'd like to know what an awesome pawn scriper was able to do with lua (mta's power)... because we (the noobs) were already able to create truly epic scripts.

1. id would probably increase our productivity if you could tell us what a vehicle change spawn is, a vehicle change pickup, a vehicle changing checkpoint? a spawnpoint? they don't work at all? you must be doing something totally wrong then 2. yes you fuckin' can 3. replace "player" in outputChatBox with getRootElement() and you'll be fine. check visibility for more information 5. it will take you (less than) 3 minutes of your life to setup different levels. if this is too much you probably should stick with mta race for EVER 6. your holy mta race didn't offer any function like that, why do you use it anways? theres nothing wrong with giving anyone a weapon, race however restarts if you give someone another vehicle because by giving him another vehicle the old vehicle element is destroyed (this is a check by race for bugs, hax/cheats or other resources influencing race). consider this as unfixable, not because it can't be fixed but this would take you more than 3 minutes to "fix". it would be unfair anyways. 7. no comment to make here, you just seem not to get it at all.

1. not quite sure what you mean 2. sebas has an irc module which can be used. in addition theres the web admin, which can be used to view the chat(and chat yourself), browse resources, see the map (blips), kick or ban players and some other stuff via web browser 3. ridiculous problem (it seems to me) chatmessages and everything else can also be shown to other players... i guess you just have some bad example here? however it's not a problem to show the chat output of a slash command to everyone 4. yes, - set the serverside frame limit to 25 and everything should act like in the old race (blame r* for their retardity) 5. you could try to create new groups for your preferences, you have the total control! 6. never heard of such a bug, please be more specific 7. thats in fact a problem but ccw worked on it, you still have to wait a little bit longer than on race but i don't find it harming anymore

pretty much unneeded, just add those effects with a proper software tool which is meant to do stuff like that

the truth is. we all know why sa mp had more players. it was released earlier. but no one can really tell why they still have more players. even a chimpanzee could (under fair conditions) make out that mta is clearly better in nearly any aspect. while mta at least has proper gamemodes theres nearly no variety on sa mp. all servers seem very similar to all the others. i've only seen very vers few server with a proper concept/objective other than hanging around and earning money by killing others. when you ask a sa mp player why he dislikes mta you will mostly get an answer you wouldn't have expected from a 5 year old. "its only race"; "ugly chatbox"; "lua is too hard to script"; "its sync is bad" (personal WTF-favourite) while theres tons of reasons to switch to mta i only see very few valid ones to stick with sa mp -yes they have more players (which will probably never hcange if they keep this as a reason not to switch) -native gta functions like the tuning garage, ammunations interior-warps and the casino are not availalbe (but are instead re written by the community in an usually more dynamic, better way) -some really crappy pcs can't handle it because they can barely handle sa mp with nearly no sync at all (yes mta consumes more performance (guess why??)) valid (but stupid reasons) mission skins driveby enabled by default (actually not even valid) BEAUTIFUL CHATBOX!!! (rofl) i could now list the advantages of mta but i guess i would hit the forums character limit per post

hey hamp, cool maps you should have some separate download for the maps in the new format for mta sa 1.0+ ( there you could make everyone have your modified infernus texture )
