This is pretty much what late night #mta chat consists of:

Reinstall your game and don't put any mods on. This question has been answered a thousand times, and it is that you can NOT have ANY MODS installed to play MTA.

Is this for GTA3 or what? You need the 1.1 version of gta3.exe to play MTA, you can get it from Google.

You're not allowed to download GTA San Andreas. Go to a shop and buy it if you want to play it.

Are you sure it was version 2 to begin with, and that it's not some other problem preventing your game from working?

They've been disabled. Do you honestly think the MTA team is THAT stupid?

To back up your existing exe: Right click gta_sa.exe Click Copy Right click on your desktop ClicK paste To run the patch: Double click it.

In your graphics card control panel, turn things like AA and AF totally off, lower other graphics intesive settings. Turn the graphics settings down in the game too, and maybe change the resolution lower.

Does your frame rate drop at the start of races? It's a well known fact that when there are a lot of players in close vacinity of you, your frame rate will drop (depending on the speed of your processor, amount of ram etc) and this probably what causes it. Download fraps (http://www.fraps.com) and run it, and see what frame rate you get at the beginning of races. If it drops below ~20, then you know it's because of your computer.

Make sure your firewall/antivirus/whatever isn't blocking the game access to the MTA master server, it needs to be able to connect to that to retreive the server list.

I don't really understand your first post at all, but from what I can make out it seems that your shots aren't synchronising? This is probably because MTA 0.5 is majorly buggy anyway, but fear not! The netcode for the new MTA core (codename Blue) is supposed to be a lot better synchronised so you won't find problems like this. Other than that...I don't know a solution for your problem..sorry.

You do know there's an object limit...right?

It was, and then SA-MP released a deathmatch mod which is awesome except for the huge amount of cheaters and lack of working health bar. The cheaters didn't really put me off because I only played on Partyserver where I was admin anyway...but the health bar is what made me dislike the mod.

MTA is my new favourite mod!
