You're trying to use an older version of the remote admin tool to connect to your server.

It will replace the EXE yes but you won't lose your save files as they are stored elsewhere.

Make it so you can drive the train in first person or chase mode (ie the same way you drive cars). That cinematic viewpoint shit pisses me off

First of all, thanks for admitting you have this problem and not using it to your advantage. Secondly, a very similar issue has been addressed with the dual core AMD processors where the game would run 'super-fast'. The issue is fixed by installing the dual core optimizer drivers from the AMD website. I'm not sure if Intel have the same, but you could certainly try looking on their site to see.

Do you have a router, and do you have antivirus software installed? I use AVG Free and I'm behind a router, so I've never bothered with shitty software firewalls like Zonealarm.

Step 1: right-click on Zonealarm icon in the systray. Step 2: click Shut Down Zonealarm.

It's because the scripts on some servers don't allow more than 1 person from the same IP. There isn't anything you can do about it.

That will only work if it's on the computer you're trying to connect to it from...if it's on another computer on your LAN then you need to enter the local IP, not localhost.
