  2. Hello dear, MTA Community! Today I've proudly introduce you to a medium-sized city map I made. It's free for Download! just go to the download link, skip 1-2 ads and you'll be directed to the Mediafire download page. Map Content Map size 777kb (Without zipping) Total objects 2,950 There are no textures or custom objects. Just native GTA objects. Airports (1) Beach (1) Shopping Mall (1) Customizable (Contact me via discord.) Sunken objects (5) Ufos (2) (one in the sky, one in underwater.) Object Lods (it has for almost every object.) Nighttime style (Yes.) Moveable objects 1. Ufo in the Sky (Top of the "N" symbol) DOWNLOAD Important Note there is a non-stop moving ufo in the sky at top of the "N" symbol that is on the roof. May that ruin memory, but I don't know. I don't think so. If the map starts to be laggy it's probably the cause of that problem. So, feel free to contact me via Discord Nebla#4277 when you think the maps gets laggy without any reason, I can remove the script (UFO movement) or just remove the file "ufobynebla.lua" and delete "<script src="ufobynebla.lua" type="server"></script>" on meta.xml. Save and close the meta.xml come back to the game and type /refresh then restart the map and you're done! Screenshots

  3. Então tá show kkkk mas só uma dica: tente evitar usar get e setElementData, principalmente dentro do evento onClientRender que chama a função milhares de vezes por minuto, são funções MUITO úteis mas já vi pessoas aqui no fórum dizendo que exige bastante do server.

For those that missed it, hedit is now part of the official MTA resources package and therefore all bug reports, pull requests and suggestions can go to the official resources github tracker and yes, it would be nice to have some scripters contribute to improve and modernize it.. PR's are welcome. Btw, soon we will forcibly update the main post of this topic (including fixing all screenshots). Despite it now being part of the official resources, we will definately keep this topic as it's legendary for having 110,000 views and many posts & input. TL;DR - get the latest version of the handling editor from the hedit page on official resources repo, or your server\mods\deathmatch\resources\[gameplay]\hedit folder (if your package or MTA installation is up to date, otherwise update it first from https://mirror.multitheftauto.com/mtasa/resources/mtasa-resources-latest.zip)

  8. Thanks everyone, I'm happy to know my works are appreciated here. Yes, but this is one of the reasons why I regret leaving for so long. If I had left without having done anything important for people to remember me, it would have been easier. No one looking for me and wondering where the hell I disappeared. Now it's more like I created expectations for people and then vanished. I heard about it when my website went down, and I thought I should bring it back, maybe run a server myself, but I never did because "I'm not in the mood at this moment". Glad I didn't even have to in the end. Anyway, it seems that bone_attach is the most popular of my resources. Its main purpose wasn't even to manage the state (attaching/detaching), its main purpose was to provide rotation calculations because that's what I considered the hard part. I remember there was a time when I could calculate 2 angles from 2 positions but not 3 angles from 3 positions, meaning I could align the object to the bone but not rotate it along with the bone around the bone's axis. But... Yes, until recently. With getElementBoneRotation being introduced, that part is now obsolete. Regarding my resources in general, I made them because I wanted to benefit MTA, but I remember being somewhat annoyed by relative lack of action from the rest of the community. There were servers that I enjoyed playing in, some of them running simple but original gamemodes. But like anywhere else, for every good server there were lots of not-so-good ones. And then there were many people looking for some traffic script but hardly anyone trying to make one themselves. It felt so disappointing. Ped scripting capabilities were very underused, especially considering with them you can do far more than just peds randomly walking and driving around. I mean yes, it's expected that in any gaming community most people would be just players and not scripters. But for everything that's possible to do with MTA, that was a huge waste. Perhaps I was just overreacting because I was a little anxious, being unsure where my life was going while also worrying about MTA at the same time. But it all seems good enough now.
