orappa
Could be caused by graphics card driver problems. You could try updating them. Link to comment

Leviathan
not all cards are Nvidia or ATI you use windows XP? windows flag button (between CTRL and ALT)+pause break then hardware and check in the list what's your card, then search for the official site (google as example) and update your driver. orappa
not all cards are Nvidia or ATIyou use windows XP? What else is there? Matrox used to be a contender but they haven't released a card for ages. There's onboard graphics I suppose, but I highly doubt that SA would run at all on a system with onboard graphics. Link to comment

silenthill21
He is probably using an onboard graphic card that doesn't have T&L support. Most generic onboard cards will come with 32 or 64 MB VRAM but not have the required power like 3D acceleration, T&L, and vertex/pixel shading. I tried playing some games on an onboard card before and it sucked. Some games ran ok but slowly and other games had a black picture with some white shapes. Not having T&L causes this to happen.
