TempEcho
Hello dear people from the MTA Forums. The last time I checked and posted on the forums here was about 6 months ago. Now , I 'return' , and I see a lot of good news , like the anounched MTA:SA , and the progress on MTA Blue should have gone well , I hope . But , what happened to the postcount under peoples' names? I don't know why , but I allways liked it to see my , and other people postcount T.E. Link to comment
Guardians Proper
They probably did it to reduce spam. Has little effect, since everyone wants more cans. Link to comment

Your gonna need 2000 posts to get all the cans lol. I don't think the ranks and cans will be mentioned to avoid spam as you said. Link to comment
[KFC]KungFu
I have almost 2100 posts and I don't think Im full up on cans I think the people like me stopped caring about it long ago and it's soo far out of reach for newer people so the ending postcounts idea was good. Link to comment
Guardians Proper
I care about my cans. It's impossible to get all five. They'll delete your posts before they let that happen. Only Mods, Devs, and VIPs get the full litter of cans. Link to comment
TempEcho
Ah , I get it , too bad tho... Now its impossible for people to see my uber 1337 posting skilzzz Link to comment

Guardians Proper
You won't get all five. They prevent that from happening. If you do, they'll "terminate" you. But yes, rumor has it, all five cans = answer to life. Link to comment
Ransom
I thought the cans were adjusted to the new rank counts that were set (which are much lower) Link to comment
Guardians Proper
What a paranoid fellow. I used to have 1500 posts, then I had 1300, and I recall the very last time I checked I had around 1100. Who knows what I have now... I don't really care, but the fact that it was happening is upsetting. Link to comment
Si|ent
When threads get removed, posts in them get removed from the count. Link to comment
Guardians Proper
When threads get removed, posts in them get removed from the count. Yes I know. I just like to pretend it's a giant conspiracy. Link to comment

I know that won't happen here anyway. Link to comment
orappa
I can change people's post counts in the mod panel and so keep them at the same amount, but what's the point? They're really not important. People make too big a deal over post counts IMHO. Link to comment
Guardians Proper
Do you really have to ask why post counts are important? Link to comment
Gamefreek
No because they arent important, just look at the KFC forum. There is a whole section on just pure spam, so anyone can get a high post count. Link to comment
Guardians Proper
Yeah but there isn't a "high spam" section around here. Post count is important. Link to comment
Gamefreek
Give me one reason why post counts are important. Link to comment
Guardians Proper
If you see someone with 1 can (or is it no cans?) then your subconscious automatically associates them with being a newbie. High post count shows committment. Link to comment
[FMJ]chode
Well i have been around for longer than you and am more committed to this mod than most yet i only have 1 can. I just dont feel the need to post "STFU Noob" or "Good luck" repeatedly. Maybe that's just me, but my post count doesnt show my commitment Link to comment
Gamefreek
High post counts dont show commitment. People who actually play the game show more commitment then people just posting on the forums all the time. Link to comment
Ransom
I resent that /me walks away with the highest post 'matches' Link to comment
