Guardians Proper Posted June 18, 2005 Posted June 18, 2005 Where can you find a police helicopter in San Andreas? Obviously on top of a police station somewhere, but I've never been arrested. I don't even know where a station is.

There is a nice map of SA included in the game box And I don't know if it really works, but I discovered that if you have a wreckage of a vehicle in your garage and you shut it and reopen it, the vehicle is alive again, but wreckages will dissapear in time. 2day not so long ago I shot down a police helicopter and it landed next to my garage when I was doing my favorite job, tankstealing without cheating. (see signature) and It landed in front of my tank wich I drove into my garage, but the wreckage disappeared 2 seconds before my garage door was fully closed. But I'll try again and I'll see if it works next time... reminds me of VC where I had all the militairy vehicles in my garage, even the apache (bumped it in with a van )

Either way, it'll end up being a disappointment considering how badly Rockstar mauled helicopter handling in San Andreas.

Guardians Proper Posted June 19, 2005 Posted June 19, 2005 I usually stick to the old planes the game has. I think onces called the Ruster. Also the Dodo and the Stunt Plane work well. The helicopters don't seem to play any role at all, I beat the storyline missions not even encountering one helicopter (Minus the one you shoot out of, and the police mavericks)

Sad thing is that's the fastest plane in the game. The Hydra puts me to sleep it's so slow.

Leviathan Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 Haven't flown in the hydra yet... I take the time for the SP, alltough I got 7 tanks now. and after vigilante mission 60 I stopped cuz I was bored of it... Being chased by hydra's is allso funny.
DominionSpy Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 Has anyone tried to get shot down in an AT400? It seems impossible. If you go over the army base, the missiles fired either miss you or if they hit you they don't seem to do any damage. Also no Hydras come after you. It's very strange.
