Mike Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 You can have scripts on a windows or linux server, but the computer actually running the scripts needs to be windows.
Guest Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 OK i have mirc running with the mta scripts under linux with the latest version of wine . But when i connect as admin to the server i get after 0 or 15 sec logged in a time out . anybody knows the problem ?
XcR Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 have u got the server patch? if not it can be found here.
MTA Team Blokker_1999 Posted April 4, 2005 MTA Team Posted April 4, 2005 does this happen when you are running no scripts as well?
Oli Posted April 5, 2005 Posted April 5, 2005 yes it will... its a server problem which affects mIRC's socket system. Proud member of Multi Theft Auto Founder of Full Metal Jacket Creator of MTA:mA:GRS http://www.mtafmj.com http://www.full-fat.com
Guest Posted April 5, 2005 Posted April 5, 2005 yes but dont know how to run the scripts good becuase the stats command are not working , but ichange weather remote
Harry Posted April 5, 2005 Posted April 5, 2005 Bacause of some Wine issues on my server i was running mtama under VMWare. Not the nicest sulotion, but it worked great. Windows 2000 Server edition with terminal services (aka as Remote desktop in XP) was very nice Wine should work as well, but i'm still a fan of a linux admin program
Kent747 Posted April 5, 2005 Posted April 5, 2005 actually its a mirc bug Kent Simon's Amazing Cross Language Hello World Program!! #include #define print printf#define caller void main(){#define ref }caller ;print ("Hello World!\n");ref;
Oli Posted April 5, 2005 Posted April 5, 2005 still there was actually a bug in the server prog though although it did expose an mIRC bug Proud member of Multi Theft Auto Founder of Full Metal Jacket Creator of MTA:mA:GRS http://www.mtafmj.com http://www.full-fat.com
