HI , somebody knows wich program i need to run the mirc scripts for the mta server ?

so i have to run it on windows server ?

But the payed hosted are also linux how do they run the scripts

You can have scripts on a windows or linux server, but the computer actually running the scripts needs to be windows.

Ok hmm maybe i can try to run mirc under wine

OK i have mirc running with the mta scripts under linux with the latest version of wine .

But when i connect as admin to the server i get after 0 or 15 sec logged in a time out . anybody knows the problem ?

yes but dont know how to run the scripts good becuase the stats command are not working , but ichange weather remote :?

Bacause of some Wine issues on my server i was running mtama under VMWare. Not the nicest sulotion, but it worked great. Windows 2000 Server edition with terminal services (aka as Remote desktop in XP) was very nice

Wine should work as well, but i'm still a fan of a linux admin program

still there was actually a bug in the server prog though ;)

although it did expose an mIRC bug :P

are you sure? i wouldnt put it past him being niels judging by the things he says and his little english knowledge
