Gareth
could you make it so you could link people to the stats directly i.e feeding the variables off the server into it e.g http://wotever.com/mtaserv/stats.php?server=&port=2003 and make it work that way it wud be so much easier for clans and stuff Link to comment
Harry
Put on the GRS global stats site wishlist.. on #2 After the server has been upgraded, it'll be possible (Agree Oli?) Otherwise i'll build a mirc/mysql stats logging service for a local database, and a php script to display it... Might be a nice project. Skipping mIRC and building a exe to connect to the server directly would be nice as well. I'll contact the team about it (Oli?) Link to comment
Oli
nice ideas harry... ill speak with u about them on irc. Link to comment
*SmartiE*
i have started on a WWW Server Stats using the Connection Method of Four Zero Four it should return A fair amount of statistics ill keep you posted. Link to comment
yield
What about creating stats using MTA:MA logs? Something like mircstats. Is it a reliable idea? Link to comment
Harry
Nope.. MTAMA logs are unreliasble for this, and it will be very slow. Better is to create a database, and a client in MTAMA, with direct logging. Scripts for parsing logfiles are in my opinion out of the question.. they are slow, unreliable and most important: not realtime Link to comment
