MTA 0.5

hello..first of all...thanks for another version of MTA..

i know youve all been working very hard to release this asap..

But there are a few comments that i wanted to post..

Making mta 0.5 not a "robber version"

its good that it isnt possible to jump with stubby anymore...

but now half of the stubby animation can be skipped by just scrolling.

it reminds me a bit of the so called "runglitch".

Weakenening the stubby was a great thing to do.

but ive noticed many weapons,have been weakened.

the purpose of removing the stubby-jump is to prevend the robber from being the dominant character ?

for prevending 80% of mta players spawn as robbers.. ?

as far as i have seen,robber is still the dominant character,simply because you can do moves legally while in mta 0.4.1 you needed a hacked client,or glitch to do some moves.

Im still a bit frustrated about the decreasing m60 damage..

in my opinion,the m60 was already a weak weapon cus of the less bullits.

i thought the m60 damage schould be increased and more ammo has been added... its just the other way round.

Not jumping with nade is a good way to prevent glitching... but i still cant figure out why you guys have disabled the ability to run with a nade..

Chainsaw,m60,stubby..i can understand..heavy weapons.. but a lil nade ?

a good combinating in my eyes is-

-removing the abilitiy to "scroll away" the stubby. (quickly after a shot)

-Adding the ability to jump with stubby.

-Decreasing stubby damage even more.

This makes the robber a weaker character.

-increasing m60 damage and/or adding more bullets

-keep the jump with nade disabled,add the ability to run with nades/molo's

i want to make sure this doesnt sounds like bitching or w/e

i love every version that you guys release,and will keep it playing no matter what.

Just my comments,perhaps some useful info or comments comes out of this topic?.

the VC stunt is very very neat.many people love it

ye but its started to annoy me i gotta get used ot it.

With robber i think jump should be readded, with reload for scroll so u cant switch glitch, and to stop crouching make it so when u crouch u can run off u have to press crouch again to stand up that will slow them down.

I beleive the reason you cant run with the nade is because running with a weapon and jumping with it are related somehow (like holding the rocket launcher).

correct.

there is a flag in weapons.dat which is called 'heavy' weapons like the rocketlouncher have it, and it disables both running AND jumping.

is it clear now?

Howcome some weapons, you can jump and not run? Why isnt this possible in reverse?

There was a topic somewhere before 0.5 came out, where we were discussing the Stubby and M60. In there most people were agreeing that reducing the Stubby damage and increasing the number of bullets for M60 were sensible.

I don't get why they've now taken the M60 damage down to 15 (only one higher than M4) and still haven't given the Mexican any more bullets. Now which is better:- 250 bullets of 14 damage (Sailor) or 75 bullets of 15 damage (Mexican)?
