Ping Problem...

Hi All,

I'm having a problem. If I goto to any server located anywhere my ping is over 300. It's usually 0-150 in UK because im on a ADSL modem. But Today the ping is just haywire.

Things I've Tried:

Close All Internet Programs - Still High PING

Closed Everything Down but MTA - Still High PING

Checked for Spyware and stuff - Still High PING

It's just impossible to get it low again? Can Anyone explain this problem?

2006 - 0 (Left MTA)

2007 - 1

Total - 10 -_-

I'm just going to leave my signature here because I find it hilarious how someone edited my signature and failed to spell "apparently" correctly whilst trying to amuse the rest of the community. 10/10 for effort though.

did u check for viruses? this is usually an ISP problem though... [uVA]Kevuwk had the same problem, and he ended up changing ISP's because his ping didn't lower.
