Hawk_Boy Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 is it possible to delete the auto-aim in MTA: Blue? becuz iam so pissed at noobs using auto-aim. plz reply mta team
eAi Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 Not as it stands. GTA's shooting system relies heavily on auto-aim. The system Blue uses should be much more accurate than the existing system, though we're currently having issues with it so we'll have to wait and see... eAi

eAi Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 Auto-aim is present in any mode in VC (standard controls or otherwise). In the normal mode, the fact that its aiming for you is invisible (it doesn't move your cross hairs), but its still doing it, otherwise it'd be quite hard to hit players (and its left over from the targetted mode on PS2). eAi

JacoB Posted December 24, 2004 Posted December 24, 2004 I'm hoping auto-aim will not work in blue. The last thing we need is a bunch of unskilled n00bs who cant use the manual aim like everyone else...
JacoB Posted December 24, 2004 Posted December 24, 2004 Someone didn't comprehend. Of course auto-aim will always be a part of vice city, but when i say "not work" - im saying "not synced".
eAi Posted December 24, 2004 Posted December 24, 2004 So, you want it so that it appears different on other people's computer from your own? eAi
JacoB Posted December 24, 2004 Posted December 24, 2004 Why not? Everyone is used to it already from .4

Hey Scorp lets not fight here, i've changed ok? so plz lets not fight
OpiuM. Posted December 25, 2004 Posted December 25, 2004 is the aiming cursor (the red and blue thing) in a .txd file....or a .dll file? if its .DLL it cant be hard to deactivate....aimbotters mess with DLL files of these sorts all the time.
JacoB Posted December 25, 2004 Posted December 25, 2004 the cursor display itself is in a txd, but the coding for it is obviously either in the game's exe or a dll. by the way, its easy to "deactivate" it. simply put conrols to standard, the auto-aim doesn't work in this mode
OpiuM. Posted December 25, 2004 Posted December 25, 2004 shouldnt there be a addy for that? similar to HUD or Radar?

The one you can see when you choose classic controls. 2. The one you can't see that happens automatically in the game. The best way to see number 2 is to get the hunter and shoot at someone with the machine gun - you will see the bullets visibly aiming at them.
eAi Posted December 25, 2004 Posted December 25, 2004 I think I'm suggesting that the two auto aims people are talking about are one and the same. I.e. targetted mode doesn't give you any advantage, appart from the graphical indication of who you're aiming at. eAi

Hawk_Boy Posted December 25, 2004 Author Posted December 25, 2004 I was refering to the Auto-aim as when you press a specific button it targets the closest person
eAi Posted December 25, 2004 Posted December 25, 2004 Next time you create a topic, give it a proper title, or it'll end up straight in the deleted section. eAi
