Not as it stands. GTA's shooting system relies heavily on auto-aim. The system Blue uses should be much more accurate than the existing system, though we're currently having issues with it so we'll have to wait and see...

Auto-aim is present in any mode in VC (standard controls or otherwise). In the normal mode, the fact that its aiming for you is invisible (it doesn't move your cross hairs), but its still doing it, otherwise it'd be quite hard to hit players (and its left over from the targetted mode on PS2).

I hope it's very accurate, I will want to see how it performs on LAN when done :)

by the way, its easy to "deactivate" it. simply put conrols to standard, the auto-aim doesn't work in this mode

People are talking about 2 different auto-aims:

1. The one you can see when you choose classic controls.

2. The one you can't see that happens automatically in the game.

The best way to see number 2 is to get the hunter and shoot at someone with the machine gun - you will see the bullets visibly aiming at them.

my point is, if theres auto aim in every controls then it doesnt help just to get rid of the classic controls
