Will people have movement?

They have movement at the moment...

You might be seeing people just sliding due to lag (either with your connection or how well the game's running)

I've found that people only tend to slide when they're making small movements. When they're running or walking for a decent distance (without much lag), it looks like they are walking normally.

The clue is in the "as far as I've tested" bit. He didn't say that they were perfect for certain, only that his testing had revealed no anomalies.

well yes, but whats the point of posting it, if its unsure if it will be that good in the final version. i guess there are a lot of fans waiting for screenshots or movies. if thats not possible ,then the post wasn't very useful.

Nobody said it was unsure if it'd be as good in the final version, I just said I haven't tried do every possible thing in VC, so I can't tell you how the movement will work in every possible situation. When we get to beta stage, we'll be able to answer this propperly.

if you said that before, then i wasn't arguïng with you :wink: but as i've seen in other topics, a lot of promises are being made, you know if they are true or false. I know MTA Blue is going to be a big improvement in compare to the old core, but i think its better not to blow things up.

A thing to always remember with VC's player animations is that they're not really designed to be seen from another person's perspective, they're designed to look ok from behind the player's head. Concequently, some animations will always appear strange in multiplayer. They won't glitch, but it might look like they're moving too fast (running in VC isn't exactly accurate).

Thats not a disclaimer, just an explanation as to why animations are never going to look 100% perfect (if you want realism).

when making animations for MTA don't you use some of the civilians animations 'cause you see them in front?

actually i would have been happy already if there was a mixed version of 0.4.1 and 0.3r2( and maybe some balance fixes+ a little less lag), so i could enjoy that , until blue is released :wink: or a new version from another multiplayer mod.
