„xrParticlesEditor„ is a resource for creating particle effects and saving them into mapfiles. This resource is in a early BETA state and still work in progress. Bugs have to been expected especially on mapping in multiplayer with other players. Most features arent finished yet, but should working rudimentary for first testing.

„xrParticleEditor“ is part of an upcoming bundle including:

- „xrParticleEditor“: dx particle modul

-„ xrLightsEditor“: dynamic light modul

-„ xrShaders“: bundle of shaders im working since a while (more than 1 year now)

„M“ – show / hide editor part

„F“ – switch between fly mode and effect mode

Flymode:

„W“ – move camera forward

„S“ – move camera back

„A“ – move camera left

„D“ – move camera right

„L-Shift“ – move camera faster

„L-ALT“ – move camera slower

Effectmode:

„Left Mouse“ – select /deselect effects

„Right Mouse“ – place new effect

„F3“ – open settings for SELECTED effect

„Arrow Up“ – move effect forward

„Arrow Down“ – move effect back

„Arrow Left“ – move effect left

„Arrow Right“ – move effect right

„Numpad 8“ – move effect up

„Numpad 2“ – move effect down

Dammn saw this video couple days ago before this thread, good job.

  • "Lua" means "Moon" in Portuguese. More specifically, "Lua" is a name, the name of the Earth's moon and the name of the language. Like most names, it should be written in lower case with an initial capital, that is, "Lua". Please do not write it as "LUA", which is both ugly and confusing, because then it becomes an acronym with different meanings for different people. So, please, write "Lua" right!

1. When I press M to start then stop the radar is hidden forever.

2. It doesn't show maps. ( I mean which I mad in map editor then I started that as a resource, then I pressed M )

Thanks, for the bug report. I´ll research most of them next days.

You cant load any maps created in map editor. This resource loads/and save only particle effect maps. You have to combine then manually. I was thinking about a addon for map editor first, but editor isnt really usable for dynamically or script created content and you have reload maps everytime you made changes in mapfile.

So i starting to create standalone editor then. Same issue i had month ago as i tried to create editor plugin for dynamic lights of Ren_712:

At the end of video you can see that new placed content will be visible first after reloading map. Map editor needs to be reworked on handle external script and dynamically mapfile changes.
