Guest Posted September 8, 2004 Posted September 8, 2004 I installed vice patch 1.1 and then mta 0.4.1. I started it, searched IP and connect. Then I pressed button "start game" but it won't work. A message appears "unhandled exception: c0000005 At address: 00652f80" and I just can press O.K. but nothing happens. Then I tried to set the box upper right to 1.1 and aggain start game. But everytime the same message. I tried to reconnect. And aggain. The message. Can somebody help me? N8walker
Dgtadude Posted September 8, 2004 Posted September 8, 2004 Make sure u can start the game in single player , if not . then your gta-vc.exe might be corrupt .. If ur using a no-cd patch . be advised that it can cause problems .

I said patch CAN .. cause probs such as the game not starting and stuff . it also works fine on the pc i play most . but on my laptop it dosent (wont open) . so i have to use the cd

Its a shame that the germans and austrailens players have censored versions, makes it way hard for them to get MTA working

Gamefreek Posted September 25, 2004 Posted September 25, 2004 Ok well what you gotta do is in the the TEXT folder of your VC directory copy all the files except for the american.gxt file into the MTA folder in your VC directory.
