it can be... you have to be careful when you write one....

an addon can be as complex as you decide.... so keep that in mind when you write one... if you are running a lot of loops then things will bog down, We'll cover this when we release the SDK

i imagine so....

there are also some methods that MTA is forcing, one bieng hte framelimiter, (sorry guys)

this will actually be beneficial for everyone,as it provides a good way to test the stress of your addons w/ BLUE, as well as verifying that the physics interractions are more in sync w/ other players (thus smoother movement, better crashing, racing etc)..

I think the frame limiter is a great idea , if it makes your game jerky , then try updating your grapic drivers and sound card drivers :D Also , try to install unofficial drivers , they usualy are better , or install the 1.1 patch :D

Mr.Xanni

Ner its always been like this, and with many different drivers i've had while i have played VC. :\

try changing the sound to Creative labs eax, that made my lag dissapear (even the 5fps in rain prob) and it sounds even better than ebfore :)

The link didn't actually answer the question:

So what is "Enough fps"? I don't know, because nobody went there so far. Maybe 120fps is enough, maybe you will get headaches after 3 hours. Seeing framewise is simply not the way how the eye\brain system works. It works with a continuous flow of light\information. (Similar to the effects of cameras' flashlights ("red eyes"): flashing is simply not the way how we see). So there are still questions. Maybe you need as much as 4000fps, maybe less, maybe more.
