DrEaM4D Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 GTAT has great features: - Crashing while in car - A meet 'n great with your error window (cool sh*t) - Crash o Mania - try to stay in the game for 20 sec without crashing - ONE VS ZERO player option - 1 player each day to fight - Drive in black cars - Sunken cars (there's water on land) And the most important game mode: - Press C 'n crash!!! Don't ya like them ?

ddff Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 Me does because there are pros and cons for gtat and MTA: gtat: + modding syncronisation support (by now: cars, spawnpoints) + more players possible (not proven yet, but the architecture allows it) + more cars ("dynamic car spawning" same as with players") + unique servers + player model selectabel + synced weather and time + multi language support - more bugs - less players MTA: + less bugs + a lot of players + stunt mode + more stable - features which gtat has (incl. modding possibility) So, I love both mods.
orappa Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 I think the fact that MTA works is largely because it has a smaller feature list. The MTA team like to make sure that one thing works before progressing to the next, otherwise you just get overwhelmed with a lot of conflicting code.

Better a working MTA with less features, than a half-ass GTAT with more features. Don't you agree?

Well, the gameplay in MTA might not have as much snazzy stuff as GTAT, but GTAT sucks in my opinion. I don't care if they put in a flyable spaceship and intergalactic travel, the game is still crappy...
