Is the true hard limit for players 65,535?

I wanted to start some insane massive server but i was wondering if i could get anywhere near there without everything bugging the heck out! also someone sent me a message saying the limit was 4096.

I highly doubt you can even get 1000.

Unless your server was completely bug free and the only server on MTA, you will get no where near that...

And it is even doubtfull you can get that many players.

Even if you did get 4k player chances that your hardware can keep up are not that big either. You would need one hell of a setup to keep that running smooth.

You'd need to have multiple servers hooked together. That's just not possible right now.

Our concurrent user record is 21,873. Good luck getting 1/5th of the player population on 1 server, let alone have it stable.
