The next two are changed: MTA 0.4 (80%) (yesterday 70%) Core 0.4 (50%) (yesterday 20%) It seems the core 0.4 (for vicecity) has a 30% boost !!! I can't wait for MTA 0.4 (this one works with core 0.3) Keep up the good work !!! Let me drive the dudo !!!

[KFC]KungFu Posted April 6, 2004 Posted April 6, 2004 They haven't yet... you are confusing them with someone else What he is saying is that they might have delayed updating the real progress so they can give it a 30% jump all at once instead of 5% or 10% at a time. In either case the progress is as far or further than the bars indicate

I thought it was done last night when the team decided we had done enough work to update the progress bar. 0.4 should be at 90% soon, just some bugs that are holding it back (/me kicks RISO)

orappa Posted April 7, 2004 Posted April 7, 2004 I'm not overly bothered by the exception error. It's not like it happens all the time, and it's easy enough to get back in the game again quickly. (And for me, it's quite easy to get my low score back )

Just kidding. I wonder what 100% means? 100% of what? 100% of being done with the next version? That doesn't really tell us much. The goal of 0.4 could be "to add in a red banshee at the robber spawn." Well, that 100% would take about five minutes. I'm just curious as to who sets the goals around the MTA place. After all, in some people's eyes 80% COULD be 100%, depending on how much they want to accomplish. Surely, 100% doesn't mean "100% Completely Done".

Kent747 Posted April 7, 2004 Posted April 7, 2004 100% is what we see fit as a suitable release for the next version, as for what that includes, you can look at the feature list for this one, it means some bug fixes, some new features for VC, fixed aiming, and support for GTA3, once we feel thats done, we put it at 100%, this is decided as a team.
