If the players are talented the mex and robber are equal. It's like chess where the mexican is a bishop and the robber is a knight. They are equal depending on the situation. The bishop likes an open board with no obstructions where he owns the knight. In a close quarters crowded board the knight is far superior because of it's short reach and agility while the bishop is suffocated.

Even in a close situation all the mexican has to do is run gain ground shoot and run again. The stubby cannot shoot someone running away if they have any sort of lead. If someone is zigzagging well the Mexican just has to shoot in the middle if he person is flanking the mexican just leads the runner. If he is good with moleys that is another bonus. Plus the 45 is also deadly and if the robber gets too close a well placed chainsaw will do the trick.

The cop has armor and a rapid fire shotty. Anyone who is good as a robber can be really good with a Cop too. I think the sailor's M4 is useless his nades and regen are the only reasons to pick him. I only use a Sailor when there is a fight at the Cherry Popper because I know I can pick up a stubby or M60 from a dead guy.

I have seen ppl who are good with the mexican do this. Whenever someone brings the M60 to the robberspawn this happens. I have frequently beaten robbers close range with the M60 (not everytime but enough to prove your theory wrong). It is true but it depends on who is controlling the robber and the mexican.

Plus the M60 is far superior to the stubby when it comes to killing laggers.

No I am not being sarcastic. There is a new type of lagger that can absorb multiple stubby shots and not get scratched. When I turn the M60 on them it drains thier health fast. You are a lagger as well and some stubby shots bounce off of you where the volume of M60 bullets have a better change of killing someone with a ping between 100 and 150. Mr.Bump has a higher ping but the same thing applies. One stubby shot will do it but It's just luck that let's that shot register. More bullets raise the odds of a hit. It is harder to hit a lagger that moves well with an M60 or a stubby especially when in my case (ping of 20 to 50 w/fast comp and vid card) just about every shot registers on me. The margin of error is slim

The M60 shooter has to maintain distance or height to defeat a stubby shooter but if he knows what he is doing he will be evenly matched.

lmao, im not a "lagger" at all. other people are on comcast (the same internet as me) and u have no prob killing them. i just know how to move and watch the smallest thing someone does. it makes a huge diff.

anyways the stubby/m60 is a opinion, and im not going to try and change urs.

Its hard killing robbers if ur a mex but u just have to have to take ur time keep ya distance and pick them off when they run 2wards u when they get to close run until ull father and do the same until they r dead.Ive done it meny times to meny Robbers of all sorts.

There r afew other good whys of killing robbers aswell if ur a mex just need timing and know how far to keep ur distance.

Just make sure u fire infront of them when there running to the side cuz of lag u nail them just right.

whoever said grenades dont work well, you are flat out WRONG. i kill people with grenades all the time. as long as you use a little strategy with them, they work all the time. and always throw at least 2. i notice that many times my first grenade wont do any damage, but the one i threw right after it does.

and the m4, is a great gun if you know how to aim. i beat mexicans all the time using an m4. sure it takes a lot longer than an m60, but there is nothing wrong with using one.

and nothing works better on those people that run when their health hits red than an m4.

i think all the classes are balanced, except the racer. as long as you remember to use strategy in a fight, any class can beat any other class. except the racer, who is flat out defenseless. its like deathb said, if you know what you are doing and react to your opponent, rather than make moves on them, you will almost always win.

Yeah I agree and I think that the reason the Crusader or Cop seem like they are weak characters is because of the ppl who choose them mainly being noobs. When I see someone standing still firing off Cop shottyrounds behind me he is easy pickins. Same for the Crusader. But they both have weapons that will get the job done if used correctly. I will try to start using the crusader a bit more now just for the challenge. The mollies alone can bail you out of a jam.

Back to my other point. Even thou it is playable and killable there is a lag difference between someone at 130 and someone at 30 that gives the higher ping person a slight advantage... This isn't the topic but it's the truth.

anyways, robbers own, its the best gun for sure, even better than the spaz, the spaz is even worser than the pistol.

i never have problems with lag btw, my ping is always between 30 and 80, but i can handle most laggers easily, just shoot where they are going to (or where you think they are going to)...and jump a lot, 'dance' around other people

i gotta say that for me anyways, I find the way the skin looks has absolutely effect on how I play,I can only see the back of him, so how is that gonna affect my performance??

Same for cars,i dont care if i scratch it, I drive it well if it handles well, if its a piece of crap car then its gonna handle bad and hence ill drive it worse.

You may not agree with others' - just like I don't fully see eye to eye with Rocket_Guns about the various strengths of the roles in MTA; that's fine and you're welcome to present your case on why you see things differently. But if you think your views hold any more weight than anyone else's you're in for a reality check and long overdue at that.

For your information though, Rocket_Guns has been around for a long time now, both as a member of the community and as an active player. If I remember correctly I first saw him around early last October and he seemed calm and pretty friendly to me. I haven't played much lately, but I don't think he'll have changed any since then. I remember logging on the official 12 player serv and having fights with him and others back when .2.2 was the latest thing around and other ppl like Shortsman, Phuk (with [R] then ) and Element were playing daily too. Rocket was gettin his fair share of kills then and he's probably getting more than that now.

Anyway, friendly tip for ya: next time you decide to go on an ego trip or a "newb" callin spree, make sure you got your facts checked out first.

hehe, hey dude. you changed you name since then or something? or did i forgot about you? i've seen so many names since mta 0.1....and i know so many people by now. i haven't changed, only my skills, i don't wanna say i'm the best but i know i'm pretty good since most of times i'm leading in servers. I'm mostly in europe servers btw, in mta 0.1 and 0.2 i used to play a lot on the official servers, but they europe servers go faster on me since i live in europe

anyways, my post up there wasn't all that serious. just to add --> the only person i like to play with is the robber. i dont like the guns of the other skins. i like to get close to someone and shoot his brains out ( ) instead of aiming from a big distance with the mexican gun for example. then about the spaz, i HATE that gun, i might shoot very fast and stuff, but the range isn't that wide like the stubby...and the wider the range the better, since there are always laggers around. you see what i mean

the spaz is overly powerful, but think what the m60 could do if anyone notices that it can knock a person over just that's not sycned yet. Think what any shotgun could do if you you could hit a person while they were on the ground.
