I've been playing MTA:VC for a while and I thought I'd go back to normal GTA:VC and half-way through driving to somewhere, I noticed that there wasn't any peds Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it? To clarify - all the normal parked cars (and people are there), but not random peds or cars. So the biker outside of the biker bar is there (with two Angels), but there are no cars or pedestrians roaming around. Yes I'm sure it's not MTA:VC. Always safe to ask though
DominionSpy Posted February 25, 2004 Author Posted February 25, 2004 Update: I have noticed that this only happens in saved games. If I start a brand new game, there are cars and peds. I think I'll do a reinstall - see if that helps.

Si|ent Posted February 25, 2004 Posted February 25, 2004 Did you update to VC 1.1 for mta, or downgraded to 1.0 FROM 1.1? This would render your saves unusable, (although usually you will just crash rather than be able to load and have no peds). MTA doesnt alter any normal vc files at all, nor does it replace or rename any, so it cannot have done this itself.
Pic0o Posted February 25, 2004 Posted February 25, 2004 I have no problems loading my Save games when i run GTAVC.exe from my game install folder. If you're doing that, I'd say mayber yer game install got gimped?

Gamefreek Posted February 25, 2004 Posted February 25, 2004 If it happens again, go into ur GTA Vice City User Files folder and delete the file called gta_vc.set. I had the same prob, but after i deleted that file it worked fine again
