dgtadude, they have succesfully tested a boat, its not impossible, it probably just isnt stable enough to include as a feature.

boats would obviously improve the game, but i doubt that i would use them very often ,due to the fact that it is hard to get in and out of them.

if helicopter weapons were implemented, then it could make for some fun gameplay, and being in a "pirate" clan could be very interesting indeed, sailing the high seas. (too bad the party boat isn't a vehicle)

the image isnt working, but i think i can guess whats going on. im pretty sure they (MTA Team) add code to make vehicles explode on water, it doesnt do that by default. The chap probably found a way to disable what they did. sadly it would only work in his game, so other people seeing him (IF they even do), probably see a boat exploding on the water every 5-10 seconds, as he drives around.

what boat is in the picture? in the SCM that came with .2, it loaded up a JETMAX model (didnt place it anywhere though), probably left over from testing...

the picture showed (as i recall it.. ) 2 ppl standing on a boat in the dockplace you own in singleplayer (near sailor spawn) and it was an ordinary speedboat from tyhe game (if i understood your question correctly)

well i am guesing but u know in MTA when a car goes in the water it blows up they do that so if any one would put the float on water Hack they die i guess so they didn't think they really needed boats but Boats would be tight !

i thought ther reason for having cars explode on contact with water would be so that nobody acts like a jerk and just throws all the cars in the water, and not leaving any to drive

Yes,that's one of the reasons,btw,cars only blow up on water when it reaches the window height(See for yourself on the beach,on the east island).
