Guest Posted December 13, 2003 Posted December 13, 2003 I had to pause my game for a while because my phone rang. i was standing at the roof down at the docks (where the cheetah is) And when i got back to the game it said that i was disconnected from the server. I thought that the mta client just had closed itself again (that happends a lot after i upgraded) when i closed down vc the mta client was open and when i tried to reconnect it said that i was banned . That is my favorite server and i dont want to play in servers where everyone speaks russian ore sweedish all the time) Hope u can help!
MTA Team Blokker_1999 Posted December 13, 2003 MTA Team Posted December 13, 2003 The official servers run a special tool which monitors the servers. I do not know why it would have banned you. Wasn't there a chat log available where a warning was given?

MAD_BOY Posted December 13, 2003 Posted December 13, 2003 well, i know some of the admins from the officials, but they won't ban without a good reason, so maby you did something wrong (maybe you use map mods (i don't say you do (just wana say that it's counted as cheating))) so i think they will have a good reason for it, come to irc and ask a admin

You can go to the select screen and keep playing. I am not saying that is why you were banned but if someone was chainsawing while you escaped or alt tabbed it's not fair to them.

Cerbera Posted December 25, 2003 Posted December 25, 2003 It's possible that you got banned simply because you share part of your IP address with someone else who got banned on a wildcard. A few people living around the Guildford area in S.E. England got banned because the NTL area hub was put on the Wojie network ban list, which included me.

So i pressed the sleep botton on the keyboard . When i turned the pc on again it sayid i was banned . The Server is : 64.191.58.165:2003 And my IP is : 24.91.62.149 thanx

Guest Posted December 26, 2003 Posted December 26, 2003 i have also been banned from an official server. i havent even been playing on the server i was banned from lately, and i go to connect yesterday to see a "you have been banned from this server" message. i never cheat, i dont alt tab out of game, and last time i played there i was not kicked or banned. i keep asking around on IRC and nobody seems to be able to help me, and the people that can just ignore me whenever i ask about this. the server ip is: 64.191.58.165:2003 my ip is: 68.107.25.174 i would really appreciate it if someone could un-ban me sometime soon. thanks for your time.

Everyone deserves to be snuck up on, watch your map. The pauser might have just paused when you started to use the chainsaw. Even if they weren't, have you ever chased down a blip on the other side of a map to find they were paused? Except for a crash every blip on that screen should be a killable player. If you pause your a lamer, period.
