@ndy Posted November 15, 2003 Posted November 15, 2003 don't u ave 2 be connected 2 the internet 2 play MTA ove LAN? or not?
crUshed420 Posted November 15, 2003 Posted November 15, 2003 no.. you don't need to be connected to the internet. As long as you are on the same local network (can ping another computer's IP address) you can play MTA against a person using that computer.
@ndy Posted November 15, 2003 Posted November 15, 2003 will there be less lag since its the same network? Wooohoo! my 100th post!
DeLuXxX Posted November 15, 2003 Posted November 15, 2003 its less laggy on LAN... with a good shared connexion, there is nearly no lag between the shareguyz...Practical when u team up with them on an online game how to disable it ? plz read the FAQ (im nb but this one is a well known )
me Posted November 16, 2003 Posted November 16, 2003 http://forum.mtavc.com/viewtopic.php?t= ... hlight=lan That should tell you how to get a LAN session up and running. Remember to download the server config tool from here: http://www.mtavc.com/downloads.php?file_id=48 It makes setting up the server a lot easier.
