Guest Posted October 4, 2003 Posted October 4, 2003 will the lag ever will be fixed? i have a ping of 30-60 and it lags like shit, u see people teleporting and shit almost never can hit someone, will this be fixed? and if u take a ride with someone it lags like hell and its like he keeps turning on his hand brake while he isnt, fill me up!
Kent747 Posted October 4, 2003 Posted October 4, 2003 (edited) the "lagginess" you see in cars is mostly due to the fact that We have not yet synced the gas/brake pedals.. As such the car is always braking (and the car is slowing down between packets) As far as the ped movement, we are working on player prediction models and animations.. but you'll have to wait a while until this is functional Kent Edited October 4, 2003 by Guest

True Posted October 5, 2003 Posted October 5, 2003 No, even with choppers they are still all the way braked, ie. if someone lags, you'll notice your chopper drop, etc. - it is just an illusion, as you dont see any tiremarks or anything.
