The general rule i tried to follow was if a pickup is close to a careers spawn it is of the same type as thier starting weapons. This prevents players spending 60 seconds and altering their arsenal entirely. Pickups distant from a careers spawn ARE of a different type, therefore with some effort and travelling you CAN create a more personal arsenal, ('customise' your character as it where). Pickups on roofs and islands, basically places where a stunt or a heli/boat is required to reach, are of a more powerful type, the exception being the movie studios roof,(number 5), as the robbers begin with a helicopter so it would only take them 30 seconds to get it.
