More than 1 person on the map editor?

Hey, I was wondering if it is possible for me to go on map editor, edit the map etc, and then for somebody else to join and help me edit the map.

Is this possible? If so, what do I have to do so i can set it up

Possible!

But you must make this server online first.

And just start editor.

You can make maps together.

But you must be an admin first, or start editor via MTA Server.exe

as xx3 says its possible, but ive tried it with a friend and its full of bugs and annoying things.

to be honest i really dont recommend it, if you want to edit a map with 2 persons just make it what you think it should be and send it to your friend to let him add things he wants

At least thats what me and my friend use to do a lot.

hmm thats a shame that it is too buggy

Anyone got more indepth info on how to set this up, even if it may be buggy i'd at least like to give it a go. I tryed searching and couldn't find anything on it

i've never had any problems with editing maps with multiple players. maybe you could enlighten us what bugs you've found

honestly ive rarely had any trouble. with the notable exception of disagreeing with the other mappers on where stuff should go

gotta say default servers acl is not suitable for editor, that made me loose few maps

Slothman is right. You can have as many players in the server as you want to edit your maps. As long as you don't try to edit the same object at the same time as it disallows you.

euhm, not able to stop test mode, test mode stopping ends in black screen or server crash, people not able to move objects, saving map results in crash for some players...

thats the problem i encountered a lot

Make sure you don't start any gamemode when testing. Just take the none ones when trying to test.

well the problem was that i couldnt get in the server with using the host game option in the main meny, so i had to clean my resources list and put the mapmaking resources in it, started it and it somehow worked(with all those bugs)

And after editing i just putted old resources back, so im also wondering what could cause these problems
