Dark Dragon
set the frames that fraps takes per second to 25. you should also take another hotkey. f9 is for gamemode information in MTA Link to comment
[SKC]TD_Mystic
try lowering your graphics settings.(this can be done in GTA singleplayer) BTW, fraps SUCKS i use a way better program : ZD Soft Game Recorder ^^ Try it ,it really beats fraps in any way possible Link to comment

Truespin
Okay. Try running fraps at Core1 and MTA and SA at Core0. Set fraps to "half size" and if you don´t need sound disable sound-sync while setting fps-rate to 25. If you have more than one hard-disc-drive (not partitions) save the video-file neither at the hd where windows and/or GTA is installed, this will avoid short lags during record. This all should incredible rise your fraps-fps. Link to comment

thestrangestick
My FPS always takes a hit when I start recording, its just the extra resources used and the fact the hard drive has to work overtime to store as it redds the game... but my game is stil very playable. Link to comment
