ldecharmoy Posted May 24, 2007 Posted May 24, 2007 Hi, it is me again from last post, how do i change my vista to xp, would it be free b/c i dont have money?
AlienX Posted May 24, 2007 Posted May 24, 2007 er, you go out to your PC Software Retailer, and you purchase a copy of Windows XP Pro (not home, home sucks). and i dont think u will get away with going into a shop and saying "I have no money, so can i have Windows XP please?"
ldecharmoy Posted May 24, 2007 Author Posted May 24, 2007 so i bought this new computer just to play this game and i cant, that sucks!
Jani Posted May 24, 2007 Posted May 24, 2007 You can probably get a copy of Windows XP for under $100 now. Going from Vista to XP won't be as easy as the other way round though, there's no "downgrade" option so you'll have to back up all your stuff and reformat.
Jigga Posted May 24, 2007 Posted May 24, 2007 HOLD ON A MINUTE. If you did buy a new computer to play this game, that means you had a computer before, and you had a Windows on it, didn't you?

If you did buy a new computer to play this game, that means you had a computer before, and you had a Windows on it, didn't you? ya, i did have xp for the old one, and the reason i bought a new computer is because i was laging b/c of the processor that sucked!!
kevuwk Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 i think he is trying to say you already have a copy of xp that you could use from your old pc
ldecharmoy Posted May 25, 2007 Author Posted May 25, 2007 i think he is trying to say you already have a copy of xp that you could use from your old pc nope, it was a hp and did not come with a cd with xp on it!
Guest Posted June 2, 2007 Posted June 2, 2007 you don't need xp to play gtasa. Here is what you do. My Computer > Right click gta and select open> right click setup and select properities > compability > and choose run this program as windows xp SP2 It works. I haven't tried it on mta yet, i hope it'll work on my vista 32bit

drumthrasher109 Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 All you gotta do is format whichever hard drive you have Vista on, or at least get rid of /WINDOWS. I don't see whats wrong with Vista, just because it doesn't play MTA? Thats a dumbass excuse.
