Synced radio stations

I think it would be cool if the radio was synced, to listen the same music with mates!

I think it's not hard to do and it doesn't take much bandwidth...(i'm just supposing!)

If synched radio stations were ever to occur, I highly doubt that 'User Tracks' would be synched. Everyone has their own music and I doubt someone with lots of rock music would want to listen to hip hop, and vice versa.

Would be cool to have but then they need to change so only the driver can change station to prevent "radio station war".

Syncing the radio station is one thing, syncing a part of a radio station track (so that everyone hears the same song) is probably more difficult.

Of course i wasnt talking about custom tracks... i don't think it's legal to sync them, it's just like sharing them

I made a topic like this a while back, a lot of people liked the idea, some people didn't. I think the controversy is actually over people that actually don't understand the whole material over this mod and will be like "omgz plz put onz my radio stationz k?" over and over again. Plus someone could spam tuning it.

This is the problem we had in the last topic, people wanted to listen to their own radio stations. I think it would be cool for RPG, maybe a server variable even to do it... I don't know.

Oh, i didn't meant that thing, I was thinking about if 2 people listened to the same radio station, they would hear the same song, at the same moment, i wasn't talking about if someone was a passenger in a vehicle he would hear the same station as the driver...

Isn't that sort of the same thing? If your gonna be listening to the same song, I'm pretty sure you'd need to be on the same station.

I like this idea. It would be great if 2 people switched to same radio station and would hear the same songs. I guess now the radio stations start playing from some specific point when you start the game.

It would be awesome, especially for RP servers. That could be a step forward into the RP situations.

I think it would be quite amusing to have fights over the radio with your passenger/driver. Though of course the novelty would wear out after a while.

maybe just the driver controls the radio station and all the passengers have to listen to what the driver chooses

I dont think this would be hard to sync, or it using too much bandwidth its just a matter of wasting time doing it - when there are other priorities now

I don't even listen to gta's own radio anymore, i have winamp radio on background, and i don't have to alt+tab to change a station (hotkeys ftw!)
