Sodisna
You guys should add: #Host #Required: Yes #Purpose: This is where your server is hosted. Host 12.3.5.6 They ay mta finds your host is kinda gay. No matter that I do, no one can connect to my server, works well on SA-MP, not MTASA.... Link to comment

You can't choose another random IP, IPs are assigned to you by your ISP and are individual, and even if it was possible to choose your host they still wouldn't be able to connect because you obviously have port of firewall problems If you do have those problems, you shouldn't be able to even connect to it yourself using your ISP assigned IP. Sodisna
Whenever I try to host a server on MTA, no can join. However, when I try to host it on sa-mp, it works. No matter what I do, forward ports through my modem and router, disable my firewall, nothing happend. Link to comment
orappa
I remember a while back someone from a hosting company requested that you could set the IP. I can't remember why but they said that they couldn't host the game without this functionality. Link to comment
Harry
It is possible wirth a multi-IP server the wrong interface is used. But there are other ways to link a certain process to an interface. Link to comment
MTA Team Blokker_1999 Posted August 4, 2006 MTA Team Share Posted August 4, 2006 the racknet version used in race binds itself to all interfaces making the server work on every ip that the machine can be accessed with. This is a big problem for hosting companies and we are aware of the situation. Link to comment
