What program do you use to do your trailers??

My question is in the title, Ive FRAPS to do video in-game but it's not as good as Ive think. you, what program do you use?

recode it in virtual dub

editing is done in adobe premiere 6.5

to make it in a small format i used eo video search at google or altavista. Than if you have that try to convert it to divx 5.05 format its confert to 25% of its original size

Or you could use Xvid,a totally free alternative to Divx.

DivX comes in 3 version :

Free : the player and codec to play videos

Spyware : all you need to code your own movies in DivX but comes with GATOR spyware software

Payed : same as spyware version but without the spyware

Xvid is open source alternatif but the DivX 5.05 codec is better. I installed the codec today and it decreases filesizes with 25% compared to Divx 4 where as Xvid only reduces with 20%

http://www.eo-video.com is the best converter there is and its free. just google for the serial. no i dont mean the crack its the remove spyware and adware code it still needs to be registred somehow but it dont ask for it

I'd be willing to bet it's not half as powerful as VirtualDub, and that's free too.

You might be surprised by the quality of Windows Movie Maker to cut down movies to WMV files.... it's ez to use and can cut and paste clips and effects- with or without sounds/ music.

i use fraps 2.0 for recording and windows movie maker for editing (yeah, i know it's crappy but i need something to edit)

I use FRAPs v2 for recording. Adobe Premier 6 and Ulead Video Studio for editing and Movie Maker 2 for sound and compression.

Divx is great for compressing most things but for game video Movie Maker 2 looks cleaner and ends up being a smaller file.
