When I launch MTA SA noting happens

Hello, i'm new here and just found the downgrade patch to version 1.0 (THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to the person that made that)

I was beginning to think i'd never be able to play MTA

Anyway, now I can! and I cant WAIT!

But, I have a problem.

When I boot up MTA SA it loads the splash screen with the amusing message "Stop playing with yourself" And then nothing happens, SA does not run

Yes I have tried holding control and selecting my game directory, the game works 100 percent in single player. (Altough i dont think i'll play single player again since i lost my 50 percent save file due to a virus that owned my pc Couldent even burn to a cd or load webpages)

What is going on?

I get the same problem and MTA 1.0 used to work perfect.

I had that problem at first, but I restarted my comp and it worked. But then I had lockups.

Is it just me or is 1.1 buggier than 1.0?

Make sure you don't have any other mods installed. If you don't, try reinstalling GTA:SA (including SA User files in My Documents folder, just make a backup of your replays).

Nope no mods, i did a fresh install, then installed MTA

Exactly the same problem here.

1.0 - works fine.

1.1 - only splash screen. And nothing else.

GTA:SA ver 1.0

CTRL doesn help. Restart doesnt help. All registry values for MTA:SA are correct.

does single player work? allso you have to delete a file wich is discussed about in another topic, or update your DVD firmware.

Single works FINE.

MTA:SA 1.0 works FINE.

MTA:SA 1.1 DOESN'T work.

MTA doesn't work anymore here also.

After the update to MTA r1.1 the only thing I see is the splash screen, nothing hapens after.

The 1.0 version worked and GTA works like normal.

i think i might check out 1.0 till this problem is fixed.

EDIT: Ok I played abit of 1.0 . I think I may have spotted the problem.

When I installed 1.0 the first time I left the server thing ticked, it wouldent boot.

Then I reinstalled and deselected the server tick box, it was working fine and btw there are still Australian servers for 1.0

When you install 1.1 you cant deselect all the server tick boxes, that may be the problem.

After install it didnt work, so i restarted and it did.

I then played on a server for 5 mins to test, everything was ok.

Now same splash screen.
