NapsK
You can find your client port in the mtaserver.conf file, where your admin+ pass and more options are in too. Just go to your MTA San Andreas map, and open: server\mods\race\mtaserver, where you can edit the config file of your server, and connect to your local IP. That should hopefully work. Link to comment
Supreme Overlord Alex
I can't see any client port listings anywhere... unless its the same as the sever port. I'm bad at this... Also do you know what I should put in? When it comes to name, nick, password and version, what one should I use/input? Link to comment
Supreme Overlord Alex
Dosen't matter now.. Turns out I had the Client Port and the Remote Port mixed up and I needed the remote admin password. Thanks anyway.. Link to comment
Supreme Overlord Alex
It would be nice if you could change the Admin in a name of your own choosing... Link to comment

CoZ
a mate of mine keeps getting a different IP , i removed the ip part for his nick from admin.ini .. sometimes he gets kicked , and other times he is a happy admin .. is there something to workaround that ? Link to comment
NapsK
Hmm, connecting to a server with a dynamic IP keeps you logged out I guess? That you have to login each and every time when you'll connect to a server. Maybe if there's going to be added something that you have the chance to login with 30 secs, or else you get kicked for a 'wannabe person'. Link to comment
Tommis
Umm, There is a way to disable but i wouldnt suggest it. It scans the first two ip groups, so i dunno y that person keeps gettin kicked onless he switches ISP's all the time.. Link to comment

It scans the first two ip groups, so i dunno y that person keeps gettin kicked onless he switches ISP's all the time.. his wonderfull isp gives him a ip anywhere from 80. to 86. i've never seen such a overactive dynamic IP I could try to create a IF hisname skip IP check .. but im worried that ill break it if in admin.ini i add a few lines like nick = 80 nick = 81 nick = 82 nick = 83 nick = 84 nick = 85 nick = 86 will that work ? (ive tried it with nick = * .. that got him kicked ) i removed that ip line for him alltogether but that seems to break some checks , he wont be welcomed as admin on connect and most commands work .. but sometimes he just keeps getting kicked .. ill also try having him try to contact his isp i should add that he has a usb modem .. but even then a fixed IP is possible Link to comment

Tommis
Well, It writes the first two IP groups on the ini, then if the level is over 2 on the person (On Join) it does like "if GETINI2IPGROUPS isin $mta.ip($1,$2)" so just change in the ini put just a 8. There for if has a 8 in the ip (You said 86-80) wont kick him. Though im prolyl gonan sync this with the RRCON, though i dunnoz... Good Luck, [XE]Tommis Link to comment

Tommis
Hey, Look in Admin.ini under [iP] and look for his name (Replacing [] with ~~) and make it like hisnamehere=8 --------------------------------- On the other hand i had just released a new installer and tutorial for this witch you should find easy now to install. You just run the setup and its practically done. Please read the short turorial (Includes pictures) Cya, [XE]Tommis Link to comment
Supreme Overlord Alex
Can I make a suggestion? I would like to see a way to disable the " Re-spawned!" message as I find it annoying after a while and the same as the race stats when you start a race. Just a thought/ Link to comment
NapsK
I already know that Tommis were working on that one, and it was succesfull, so I think that would be plugged in into a next release of GUS. Link to comment
Mike
Why does this script force you to join the XE clan channels? The only possible reason that I could think of, is that the only way you can get new users to come and visit is by hiding this forced little 'feature' in your script. Lame. Link to comment
Tommis
Yes, soz, after i built the installer (Used trial version and it ran out..) i noticed that (Used the same mirc that i use to connect to XE channels.) please avoid that, just remove from favorites. Cant be that much of a problem. Just go in favorited, and highlight #xe and click remove. Soz (Look in Suggestions Topic for a UPDATE) Cya, [XE]Tommis Link to comment
CoZ
look at this [15:06:18] CONNECT: bandit connected (IP: 88.111.93.195) [15:10:23] CONNECT: Ben149 connected (IP: 172.143.117.4) [15:10:29] ADMINCHAT: coz: bandit's Level: 1 [15:16:58] CONNECT: ben149 connected (IP: 88.111.93.195) [15:22:14] CONNECT: CoZ connected (IP: 88.111.93.195) [19:48:59] CONNECT: CoZ connected (IP: 88.110.79.141) [19:49:17] CHAT: CoZ: !admin [19:49:17] ADMINCHAT: coz: Online Admin(s): CoZ [19:49:28] CHAT: CoZ: !level [19:49:30] ADMINCHAT: coz: CoZ's Level: 10 (i have a admin running around called : ) ..) i did tweak the x13 a bit . but im quitte sure i stayed very far away from the ip check kick thing .. and , well since i did talk about it recently .. im quitte sure it works for at least some situations i must add that this bandit fellow was a admin before doing this all (and after i noticed he found this way in the afternoon i made sure i removed it from admin.ini) the script is running on same comp as i use to connect and server is too .. so its all localhost ..so lvl 10 admin is 127.0.0.1 etc any suggestions ? (and no i dont have the things id try for the other fellow any more, he settled on using rcon) he tried a few times with different ips if you want i can send you the log , the ini files and my version of x13 .. i moved all inis to new folder .. made one new admin with !set with some impossible to remember nick .. but , well thats no sollution either ---- edit .. well after the ini file flush it went back to plain old reliable [23:28:10] NICK: bandit is now known as CoZ [23:28:10] ADMINCHAT: coz: CoZ - Invalid IP Match [23:28:11] KICK: 'CoZ' kicked from server by Remote Admin 'coz' (ID: 0) im still not sure if everything is fixed .. or what was broken for the matter im not sure if i was the cause or maybe the admin.ini just got corrupt after so manny (strange) nicks .. well .. all im saying .. be adviced .. there maybe a lesson here it worked so well for so long .. its very easy to think it all works .. occasionally test stuff its probably been my own fault orsome , but still wanted to share all this since its reallllly terrible to see that someone just logged in with your nick and got level 10 .. and starts to kick admins etcetcetc glad i just happened to be watching the server ------------ edit here is another tip i found he kept changing his IP .. but the ban system only checks óne IP well ..hmkay .. a workaround for that add nick in admin.in with some impossible IP .. like 9.9.9.9 Link to comment
