Guest Posted June 5, 2003 Posted June 5, 2003 It's not a bug. They're meant to be there, for now... I'm sure the reason they show up on the radar is because they're "targets" (blue arrows), but it's not really a big deal.
Guest Posted June 5, 2003 Posted June 5, 2003 I'm thinking it lets the game determine how many players are able to play on the server. Then when someone joins the server, one of those guys gets spawned to your location to use.

Guest Posted June 8, 2003 Posted June 8, 2003 i have this problem too... whenver i switch back to gta it disconnects from server nomatter how many times i try and recconnect it does it each time, the connection rate is fine but as soon as i switch to gta3 it just stops dead. im using win98se and have 1mbit cable.... has anybody with a win9x system got this thing to work?
Warlord Archon Posted June 8, 2003 Posted June 8, 2003 Those with Windows 98 have a big problem with this mod and i think i might know why. I'm assuming that all the DEVs are using Win 2000 or Win XP and there is a conflict.

Warlord Archon Posted June 8, 2003 Posted June 8, 2003 You are correct there. XP is still kinda buggy. Win 200 is just the same anyway except that XP has the mickey mouse grapics. Also 2000 is a bit more stable.

Mr.Bill Posted June 8, 2003 Posted June 8, 2003 no I think you keep your sync the place's I've seen dot's at are 1. the police station, or that start out building 2. that place near mafia (the roof one) 3. the stadium, oh if you ever need it theres useraly a mafia sentinal parked behide the stadium, its saved me more then once.
