Anyone can set themselves as hiden (it's in the profile) but only admins can see you online.

It's not problem for me, but someones can be bothered of all the eyes watching at them.. It's spooky. No, really, some people just want to be hidden. It doesn't harm anything and some people wants it, so there aren't any reason why it shouldn't be there. It's just another feature in the forums. And some moderators might be secretly modifing the forum, so they remain hidden.. Mm.. Hidden pies..

Moderators will always be seen due to the bullets under their name, showing their a moderator
