I've noticed the lag, but only with a big ping difference (server host was doing 5 ping, I was 118) he'd be popping up here, then here, then here, and he was hard to hit. However, everyone with at least double digit ping moved fairly smooth. And the aiming with them, damn, it's nearly perfect, I don't have to go through more than half an m60 clip now to find the target's sweet spot. Only time lag was bad was on the bigger, fuller servers, but my PC's not all up to date so it wasn't much more to deal with from 0.3. Great job devs, great job.

Strikes me as odd that all the peds are properly named, and some (one anyway) of them have clan tags.

I tried it once or twice... when I could actually get it to connect to a server. Like Jon said, if it were a made a little better and they improved their server connection problem, yeah, it may be almost as good as MTA. ... almost.

That would be an exception, yes. Whenever I run my personal server in stunt (which is rarely running DM, let alone stunt) I warn people in my MOTD that car/heli killing is disallowed, and that they'll be kicked for doing so (unless accidental) and banned for a repeat offense. Otherwise in DM, anything goes ... except cheats/mods.

N00bish my , it can be kinda easy out in the open, yeah, but it takes skill to get at the experienced people who know how to hide among clusters of solid objects, or even the people who just know when and where to run so they can get out of danger and shoot it down.If anything, the heli's not a n00b weapon, it's the anti-n00b.

I think it'd be great if Boss' idea were to be implemented in future, sounds like the free mode server on RE: Outbreak. Dunno about other people, but the most fun I have playing MTA is when there's teamwork involved.

Wow, prices are a bit steep, no? Then again, I've never been to a Starbuck's (Robin's Donuts & Tim Horton's all the way, yeah!) Anyway, it's nice to actually see a RP clan, should be more of them. MTA is so... dynamic, it's cool to see people branching out beyond the gunning and stunting aspects.

This has happened to people on my personal run server a few times, join flood ban. I think it's when a person gets disconnected and tries to connect too fast it'll auto ban them for said reason, though I'm not sure how long you have to wait between connection attempts or how many times you have to try and connect quickly before the ban's set. All I can suggest is tell the admin(s) your problem, and start waiting just a little longer between connects. Hope this helped dood.

Gonna spare you a major flaming dood. One persons enters the car as normal, anyone wanting to be a passenger needs to stand by another door and hit change view (default keys are V and Home) and depending on the vehicle you can get 2 to 4 people in. In future, try using the search option at the top to see if a problem's already been addressed, saves everyone time and spares you a lot of smartass remarks. Answered and lock requested.

I completely agree, it's annoying as hell to get nailed by a spaz, but so is getting hit with a stubby, and if you get helikilled, then you either need to learn to run more, utilize cover or turn your speakers up. No one should get kicked for doing this, let alone banned, since by using them they just make themselves a target. The 24hr DM server doesn't allow heli or spaz.

Xenon too, on at the same time as WURM using speedhacks and admitted to it, plus might be using a wallpass/modded map as he was driving the BF injection inside the airport and wasn't jackable.

WURM on 24hrgamer server, glitching nades at his feet and taking no damage though he's obviously getting knocked down by them, also hit him with full m60 and 3 chainsaw cuts, no damage.

I noticed his footspeed but yeah, may have been fraps, but I was referring to his getting knocked down 3 or 4 times with still green health, even with armour he'd have taken a lot of damage. P.S. I love it when it takes cheaters a long time to kill you, shows how skillful you are... and how lacking they are.

Yeah, generally if you see a person begin to fall or completely fall over and pop right back up, it's just a misread hit or lag, same as with when someone lands on their back and starts sliding around and/or firing from the ground, misread. However, if they do fall down and it shows them getting without moving or firing, they've probably been knocked down (as mrantichrist said). Here's a vid that should pretty much show you how to tell.

I'd like to see this used a lot during gangwars, as people who do spectate (when allowed) just tend to get in the way. As for DeathB's point, guess the honour system would have to do, same with not spawning after death, unless spectator chat were disabled.

As I see it, honourary's, aside from what has been said about friendships/alliances and being, um, junior members I guess, are people who you can call up for gangwars if you happen to be shorthanded. It'd really blow to plan an 8 on 8, have one or two people from one team not show up so one or two from the other team HAVE to sit out, especially with those in the MTA community as a lot of the players really look forward to these matches.
