Have you copied gta_sa.exe to anywhere? Search your hard drive for gta_sa.exe and make sure there is only one copy
-
Try applying the latest patch: https://nightly.multitheftauto.com/?mtasa-1.0.5-rc-latest
-
This bug has been fixed in the latest patch: https://nightly.multitheftauto.com/?mtasa-1.0.5-rc-latest
-
Sounds like MTA:SA registry entries are incorrect. This should fix it: https://updatesa.multitheftauto.com/sa/files/MtaA ... ntries.exe (When prompted, make sure you start GTA single player)
-
Ok, that may not have worked correctly. However, this patch should fix it: https://nightly.multitheftauto.com/?mtasa-1.0.5-rc-latest Please report back if it works or not.

Try this patch: https://updatesa.multitheftauto.com/sa/files/mtas ... -02562.exe

It's crashing while playing sounds. Does it crash everytime? Are you able to connect to any servers? Do you have any custom music/sounds/user tracks? Does single player GTA work ok? Try turning all the volumes to zero in MTA:SA Settings->Audio
-
That goes beyond the scope of the help available here. google something like 'linux beginners guide', or ask in Linux forums or on IRC

Get the latest MTA:SA linux server: wget http://linux.multitheftauto.com/dl/105/multithef ... 0.5.tar.gz tar -xf multitheftauto_linux-1.0.5.tar.gz cd multitheftauto_linux-1.0.5 Get config: wget http://linux.multitheftauto.com/dl/105/baseconfig.tar.gz tar -xf baseconfig.tar.gz mv baseconfig/* mods/deathmatch Get resources: wget http://mtasa-resources.googlecode.com/f ... s-r692.zip unzip mtasa-resources-r692.zip -d mods/deathmatch/resources/ Start server: ./mta-server Or, start server in daemon mode: ./mta-server -d List running servers: ps aux | grep mta-server | grep -v grep Stop all running servers: killall mta-server

Apply this patch: https://updatesa.multitheftauto.com/sa/files/mtas ... -02561.exe After running, it should create a file error.txt in your Multi Theft Auto install directory. Please post the file content here:
-
Please post a picture of the error box
-
Most common cause is firewall blocking gta_sa.exe
-
Please paste the text from the crash dialog
-
The log file should show why the resource was not loaded.
-
Which antivirus are you using?
-
Please post the content of mods/deathmatch/mtaserver.conf
-
Try this installer: https://updatesa.multitheftauto.com/sa/files/mtasa-1.0.5.exe

Intel have a C++ Compiler: http://www.intel.com/software/products/noncom/ I expect it will be hard work getting MTA:SA to successfully compile using it though. Why can't you install autoreconfig ?
-
I found this guide for your router: Where he adds one mapping for 31110, you'll have to add 3 mappings, one for each of 22003, 22005 and 22126. (Assuming you have the default port numbers in mtaserver.conf)
-
Don't worry if you see your server in the LAN tab. As long as your ports are open, everyone else will see it in their internet tab. Use the server console command openports to check port openness. Or use this page: https://nightly.multitheftauto.com/ports
-
How did you fix it? What version of MTA:SA are you using now?
-
I've yet to see any evidence of serial changing in 1.0.4 (and later). Prove me wrong to win mystery prize.
-
For the crashing, see if changing this setting to 'Alternate' helps: Settings -> Advanced tab -> Code path
-
Why are those *'s there? What is your username?
